It's a recreated UED logo (apparently official, too) to fit the SC2 theme, just like how the Dominion logo has been changed in SC2.
EDIT: BTW, I have thought about ideas in the past for a Hybrid vs Protoss DotA-like map, but never anything concrete. I have some ideas for the Hybrids, if you're interested, PM me or add me on MSN: (Alex05222{at}hotmail{dot}com).
Did you use m3 exporter for 3dsmax or another script/program? Are you going to modify also death animations?Last , where did you get that head ? Keep the good work.
From C&C i love the whole setting. The story is magnificent, the ecological destruction from tiberium is some thing that resembles our real world, but in our earth humans are the tiberium...

Your flag is sort of different I guess.... Anyways, i think the glow effects could be done a bit better through manipulating the textures...

If you need help/suggestions in death eviscerate animations, you can ask me. I made something similar with my marauder model.
