This request is for the Starcraft Earth mod, which chronicles the story of the Terran from the beginning of the 20th century until their First Contact with the Protoss.
.m3a animations can be applied to models and then used with actors
Marine animations
Throw - Currently the only throwing animation accessible for a normal marine is via the raynor marine model, this would be just be a copy of that as an .m3a file that we apply to add the throw animation
Rifle Jab - something where the marine uses the front of his rifle to melee attack with the bayonet
Rifle Swing - something where the marine uses the but of his rifle to melee attack
Snipe Attack - the raynor snipe attack as an m3a would be super useful
For extra awesome points consider animations for a jump, a running drop kick, unpowered start (fall down), unpowered (lay on the ground), unpowered end (stand up), surrender (drop weapon and raise hands), knock back (as if the marine were struck by a punch and is knocked back)
All of these animations could be used for many of the models with the basic marine body structure, including the normal marine, marine sniper, marine gunner, rocket marine, mercenary marine, tychus, and warfield marine models, and any other marine models that come about
Currently there is an .m3a asset on sc2mapster that adds a hand wave animation to marines when they idle, it could also be cool if this could be used as a spell animation or accessed another way besides stand, since it could be useful for a spell ability (like for sending commands to other marines). Does anyone know what it takes to make that modification?
Wraith / Valkyrie / Viking Aerobatic maneuvers
Barrel Roll - animation that rotates the model once around the y axis
Loop - animation that rotates the model once around the x axis
Fly Superior - animation that tilts the model upwards 30 degrees as if it were climbing in altitude
Fly Inferior - animation that tilts the model downwards 30 degrees

The marine already has a throw animation I believe it's spell and fly superior and fly inferior could be done through data.

I would wait on that becaus ethey are about to change all of the unit models and animations of all of the units in HOTS soon anyways.
Really? Why would they do that? Seems like a lot of effort for little gain.
