An user made scenario developed for the Starcraft II platform based on the traditional Action-RTS architecture pioneered on Starcraft. Two teams of players compete to destroy the opposing side's base, at the core of which resides a Fleet Beacon or Nydus Worm. SotIS is an answer to the long asked question: "What if DotA came to Starcraft II?"
Currently the most played and most heavily developed custom map on BattleNet 2.0, SotIS is the premiere Action RTS experience on Starcraft II.

Posted Aug 5, 2010You should change the category and mode to DoTA, since there's another map that uses these categories (recently published) and even though it's much worse than your map, it has a high popularity due to its category and mode "description".
Either this, or that map author needs to change/remove his/her map's description to something else than DoTA. DoTA is not a game mode nor a game, it's a map/mod where you take control of a hero... But this guy uses DoTA tag to boost the popularity of his game.
Well. Yours is better. But that guy creates inequal competition. Just a heads up. (EU realm)

Posted Aug 2, 2010dunno if it's been mentioned, but whenever I play and someone leaves it gives me their hero and that bugs upgrading and buying. After that no matter what I do it wont let me buy anything and minerals are rendered useless.

Posted Jul 22, 2010Mmm, a few things. Overall, items as a whole do appear to get extremely overpowered late-game. Many people claim various heroes are op, but generally it's merely the items being so ridiculous. The initial mercenaries need to be weaker, they can be pretty insane. Lastly, you absolutely need to create a vote-kick ability. This is extremely necessary and above all the other things I hope will be implemented for the game's release.

Posted Jul 18, 2010Metabolic Parasite can bug and stay on a target after they resurrect. The person using it didn't move at all during the time it was on me and it kept killing me every time I resurrected even though they were halfway across the map.
