Blizzard's hero system is still VERY buggy, and since it's all hardcoded in the game there's not much we can do about it. If these happen, the game bugs:
- Hero dies and revives, level doesn't save
- Hero dies and revives, items don't save, and attributes mess up
- Hero drops an item that modifies attributes, stats mess up (and doubles on top of bug above)
- Hero with attributes morphs, stats mess up. Had to hacky-y work around this with triggers
- Hero dies while morphing and revives, actor can be bugged
Also, in this version the hero can't spawn at forward bases due to blizzard's revive ability range being hardcoded & too short a range, had to create a hack-y trigger based solution to work around this in a later version.
If you play this in multiplayer, the first and third player who join must be on team 1, and 2nd and 4th players on team 2. You can accomplish this by simply switching a player from teams 1 and 2 after everyone joins. When map publishing is out, people will be on the proper teams.
