i'v tryed on bnet using the published map.. but if i play alone i get 4 waves .. how can i survive the first wave ?
Much easier TD now. Tooltips on upgrades helps a ton, but some upgrades may be a bit too strong. +10 damage vs armored per upgrade on the gun turrets quadruples their damage on armored targets when fully upgraded.
Tesla towers are just bad. I can't see any possible use for them when every other tower is so superior. Two teslas appear to do less damage than one thor due to reload speed.
The colossus boss wave (15 or something?) just feels out of line with every other wave. Maybe a slight reduction in their HP or speed.
Thor/queen wave have a footprint that is too large, results in them attacking towers rather than pathing through maze
Void rays attack while moving for some reason
Motherships only has 350 shields/8 health; not really sure the purpose of them since they're the last wave and with so little HP they die in a couple seconds.

Ok, this is way too hard in normal mode. I've been up to the hydralisk and died there making a mix of poo and turrets.
This is damn hard. As far as I can tell (I've played 30 times now) there's only one "correct" strategy/build layout that will actually win and I don't think you can win without losing lives. If your timing is off by a few seconds then you lose lives. If you build one tower in the wrong position, you lose lives. If you accidentally build the wrong tower, you'll probably just lose.
Anyway, in case you didn't get it, it's too difficult.
Also, all upgrades aren't particularly clear on exactly WHAT they're upgrading; there needs to be a list of towers improved and what kind of improved speed/damage increase the player can expect. The vague descriptions weren't helpful at all.
It would be helpful if the builder flew or didn't have collision so you don't need to walk through your own maze.
A tip for players who can't figure it out: you cannot build a symmetrical/spiral maze and be successful. I tried many tower combos and spirals just don't work. You also have to micro the towers at times to shoot at the same target.
Its much too difficult on the normal setting, after playing 10+ times i've given up out of frustration. If you're going to make difficulty settings then make your lowest one a fun setting thats reasonably easy to beat. Right now i feel there must be only one strategy to victory. The furthest I got was the banshee level, on the previous release of the map i made it to the MULE level.

-A cooldown time of 10 to 0 seconds to allow some time to build is implemented.

-Difficulty mode now affects properties of waves
-Difficulty mode no longer affects numbers of lifes given
-Default numbers of lifes set to 1
Pretty easy, air made me lose a few lives but couple anti-air on each corner and you're fine.
Just put a row of paintball around the middle, then a row of shit, then another row of paintballs for the outside (in a spiral of course) and it all went pretty simple from there, banelings didn't get anywhere near my towers as the paintballs ripped them to shreds.
I keep losing to banelings :( They're the only ones that completely ignore the maze and bust right through.
Edit: Okay found a way past banelings, build Tesla Towers around near the spawning points when they come out, 1-2 each should be enough. Build them out of the way of their movement path and Tanks should finish off those with low health after they get shocked. This also works well on the air phases, instead of adding missile turrets to the maze, just build them a little off from the spawns so they get enough range to hit them for longer time.
A few suggestions
-Add a few seconds in between waves. Building is a pain in the ass if enemies keep walking in the way. This is especially a problem after the banelings level -Make the enemies attack if the center is walled -I agree with StarcraftScientist, more waves, towers, and upgrades would be nice. I see you already plan on that, though.
Air is a little awkward when it comes from 4 diagonal directions, but it's fine, considering the game is meant to have 4 players. Otherwise, it's a good map, little easy, but still one of the better TDs out there so far.

I found this TD pretty easy. All I did was wall off the center and build a spiral maze around it.
Banelings killed a few of my missle turrets but otherwise weren't a problem.
All in all good TD, just needs a bit more balancing, and maybe some more decisions to make (either upgrades or more towers).

Wow banelings destroy your base... not cool...
Too bad en-GB local is missing :), Last wave (siege tank) are too large to pass a 1 square space maze and go back @ spawning point cowering in fear from your turrets.
