Shadows of the Tal'Darim
Shadows of the Tal'Darim is a 3-part 1-10 player RPG for Starcraft 2.
Shadows of the Tal'darim 1.09 features:
- 15 Unique heros
- A hero save system that holds 5 heroes per player
- Content that adjusts difficulty based on how many players are present (Mobs and bosses have +100% life per player)
- Content that drops more loot when there are more players present.
- A Unique Stat-point spending system that allows you to customize your character, and re-spend these stat points freely at any time.
- A talent system that can unlock new abilities or improve existing abilities.
- Diablo style followers that get stronger as you get stronger, and level as you level.
- Over 240 pieces of gear including helms, shoulder, chest, bracer, gloves, boots, rings, shields, trinkets and relics!
- Drive 1 of 4 different types of vehicles!
- A waypoint system similar to Diablo.
- A PVP Arena where 4 or more players can have arena battles and compete for XP and Vespene!
- Released Dec 28, 2010. Updates every week.

- Act I Level 1-25 content
The Protoss and the Tal'darim were fighting above restored Haven. Shortly after the Terran colonists sent up a battlecruiser from the surface, a sub-space Vortex opens up above the planet, engulfing several vessels. Trapped and stranded 85 years in the past, our heroes grow tired of waiting for reinforcements
The Tal'Darim have set up fortifications, while they gather enough materials to launch an assault on Aiur (and through their madness, destabilize time itself!)
- Act II Level 23-50 content
After nearly defeating the Destroyer, our heroes head South in pursuit. Chal'marr and his band of Templars have taken over a nearby Tal'darim outpost. This outpost will serve as a temporary sanctuary for Chal'marr's survivors while they investigate the Tal'darims recent expansion into the region.
- Act III Level 45-80 content.
Near the end of Act 2, one of the Destroyers Dark Archons had mysteriously appeared and stole a powerful crystal artifact that the Destroyer was excavating. The Destroyer was enraged. The Tal'darim Archon opened a time rift and escaped to the present.
With the timelines restored, our heroes return through the temporal vortex, but they pick up a Tal'darim warp trail that leads straight to Korhal! Chal'marr's survivors (on General Larrens Battlecruiser) follow the warp trail to an experimental research facility on Korhal, which is still mostly in ruins after the last Zerg attack.. The Ta'darim Archon (known as Nezzax the Consuming) is harnessing the powers of the crystal to amplify his ability to control human minds!

act 2 is on a different map. Easiest way to find it is to search for 'Shadows' in the Join custom games menu.
How do I access Act 2? I have the key for act 2 and talked to Chal'Maar yet nothing happens?
I love the new updates they look so interesting, also thanks for adding the none-cheating update.
Sadly my computer will no longer play Starcraft 2 right it lags so much, not just your game all of them..

I'm going to start working on new spell animations for the healing spells, and working on abilities for the new zerg hero.
When the last boss dies, all players automaticly unload vehicle. Some quest items should be removed from all players inventory to make room for the head of the destroyer, and if a player goes through the end portal WITHOUT the head of the destroyer in their inventory, it should give you one.
yeah lol same here. When i play Diablo 2 I skip all dialogs because I don't !@#$ing care about the story, and when I'm working on this RPG, well story just kinda comes last. I just don't want the story to be garbage. It's really really hard writing Tal'darim lore that doesn't conflict with the 'non-cannon' and 'cannon' works featured on http:starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/StarCraft_Wiki
All this shit from these different books kinda contradict eachother. There are 3 groups of people who have seperate beleifs as to where the Tal'darim come from: The people who played sc bw campaign, the people who read the 'dark templar' non cannon book series, and the new sc2 people who 'just don't care' because we're told 'they're mysterious' and 'they're an evil Protoss faction.'
I've chosen to go with the SC2 model for the Tal'darim, of an evil protoss faction.
Well, I could not imagine how hard it would be to make this.
Cinematic is interesting, you should put the whole story line below the Pic of Shadows of the Tal'Darim Act III and control. So people will get a better understanding?
I honestly don't care about story line I just like game play.
just taking some time to work on act 3 and implement some of the new act 2 changes to act 3, like how Zen'yth is immovable, invulnurable. There will be the debug messages that inform you when your inventory has been updated, and minor tooltip updates.
Easy stuff, there's not much that needs to be done with Act 3 really, although I sorta feel it should be telling the story better. Minor terrain updates can be expected.
When all this is finished I'll work on making the cinematic in Act 2 skippable. I forsee lots of painful work with trial/error. Should be ready for testing by tomorrow night.
This is my last suggestion post feel free to reply or not,
7.)Arena, how about a survival mode instead, waves.etc (If you do make something like arena)
Had some excellent suggestions in an act 2 earlier with someone. Reminded me of certain things I liked about WOW and Diablo 2.

try dragging the sc2map file to your Starcraft II.exe.
If that doesn't work, keep looking for a version of my map that works for you here
One of em has got to work on your unpatched version.
Problem after another just keeps popping up, i downloaded act 1 of the version you linked me but as i open it in the editor and press the test map button it says something about a syntax..tex error and another error popup that says "unable to save test document Test/EditorTest.SC2.map but that file isn't supposed to be related to the map is it? anyways, thanks for helping me so much. Really appreciate it ^_^ map looks great btw

I'll be working to pour some time into act 2, because there are people still having bank loading issues in multiplayer games.
oh you're looking for a version that runs on a pirated copy of sc2! I might recommend thisversion
if this doesnt work, try one of myother old versions
Seems my game refuses to accept me updating it or repairing it so it can update, im left to ask you if you could possibly make a version of this map that is made without anything that requires updates?
if not possible thanks anyways and same thing if you just don't feel like its worth doing for just 1 person i really tried everything to update and i really wanna try out this awesome-looking rpg :P
