SCII RS Extension Mod
This mod is being developed by a single user on his spare time, it is not dead as it is a personal project; but you should not expect lots of posts or media.
This is an Extension Mod for Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void. It'll be available on battlenet during next summer. The name for the extension mod is:
SCII RS Extension Mod
Concept idea:
Make the game more realistic in terms of lore and strategy, while creating new opportunities to improve and expand the gameplay.
Main features:
- Realism: units & buildings scale, movement, speed, stats, costs, supply, etc. is adjusted.
- Include almost all campaign units from WoL, HotS & LotV.
- New & modified weapons, behaviors and abilities; as well as stuff from the campaigns.
- Full game rebalances to include new units and modified unit’s attributes.
- Make the game focus more on battle & base defense than resource harvesting.
- Correctly implement cheap mass units and rare & expensive units into armies’ composition.
- Tactical feeling: units’ movement is affected by terrain, small/agile units can evade some attacks by being hard to hit.
- Weapon effectivity, small weapons’ fire does almost nothing to high armor.
Current status:
Currently a major revision and internal testing is being run in order to make sure everything’s right before launch. After the melee mod is done, work will continue on a single player/co-op campaign.

Same problem with bigvion unfortunately. There are other problems I am noticing too, strangely.
Protoss: Besides the issue with the protoss stargate not being able to be warped in, even trying custom maps, blizzard maps, high ground, low ground, on and off pylon power fields; something else interesting is happening with the protoss. It seems that the Tal'darim upgrade already applies for dark templars since they come out with red eyes and red blades and this is of course without any research done. It's strange but nothing else seems to be affected. Regarding the on and off powerfields part, there is a green sqare off power fields for a little distance and I was even able to place a robotics facility out of the field. Not sure if this is intentional?
Terran: The last issue is a pretty big one unfortunately. For Terran AI allies and enemies, they literally never build an army. Wait as long as you want, they will only build supply depots, command centers, SCVs, and vespene refineries. I tried Terran out myself and nothing seems broken, I was able to build whatever I wanted and it all seemed to work as intentional.
Zerg: No problems noted.
Edit: For Terran add Engineering bays and missle turrets to the construction list, but no bunkers or anything else. Protoss edit is that is seems most gateway units come out as Tal'darim? Red eyes everywhere.
FIX: The current one used to load this mod that had the issues was the SCII RS Extension Mod Reupload by Catalyst. If you want the mod that actually works with no major issues I can find at least, type "CuTu SCII RealScale"
Hi, i love the mod. but i Have problem with stargate from protoss
i can't place it anywhere, i have trying any map but still cant place it
the ground is green but the pointer always red circle and keep telling me " cant place, location invalid"
please help me

Type CuTu SCII RealScale and use this upload instead. Don't use the one from Catalyst, which I can bet you have been using.

I just wanted to let you know that for the time being, as your mod is currently not online/playable, a person on the American server named Catalyst reuploaded a former version of your mod after extracting it from his cache, under the name SCII RS Extension Mod. He uploaded it on the American as well as the European server. It has really good ratings (about 5 stars), but is apparently not well known, as it has only 18 reviews on the European server and about 10 on the American server.
I don't know if Catalyst is actually allowed to have done that, but it kept the fanbase of your mod alive and expanded it (myself included), so I think it's positive. Maybe you could ask him to redirect to your next upload in his description. He already made a link to this website.

I have to thank you so much this mod is my favorite by far tarren is my favorite even if I can't spell it I am sorry no one has thanked you for it yet and it surprised me so much all they send is suggestions and complaints.

Hi, I love the mod, it's my favorite of all time, but for the past couple months when I try and create a lobby using the mod, it says the mod isn't available, and I can't find it in the normal mod list, only in my bookmarked mods list... have you taken it down? if so, why?

I am having the same problem it is killing me but apparently urzaiz has taken it down for updates but he is planning on realeasing it again sorry for bad spelling.

Is there any chance youll release this as a custom map for offline play?
Hey Urzaiz I love your mod! I was wondering if there were still updates being made. I'd love to see updates to the ai as well as more units! (Such as Arclite siege tanks, hero units, etc) In addition to the possibility of increasing resources. Thanks in advance!
Its a great Mod but for some reason the Overlords can't trasport units even if i by the upgreat... maybe i do something wrong!

Hello there, sorry for the long wait but I've been a little busy with the real life.
-What do you mean? Like they're immortal or something? Whenever you destroy a building you get some "debris" but they are not buildings anymore, is that what you mean? Or do you mean they're too resilient? Those units and structures are supposed to be that strong not just for balance but for lore, remember this mod is focused on lore.
-Well, indeed; once you get an ultralisk, bc or collosus; infantry is useless, since this is a lore-based mod the usual counters are much more powerful and what you're experiencing is the "reality" of starcraft lore, if you feel somewhat frustrated with infantry (and i mean it in the good way) that means i did my balancing just about right.
-Not sure what you mean, turrets get increased attention from attacking units, this means if you send a group of banshees they will attack the turrets first since those are their greatest threat, it's not the smartest thing from the banshees but in this case maybe you should switch your strategy and destroy the AA first like we would do in real world war.

This is a great mod, seeing this was what inspired me to make my own mod. Though I do have some points/thoughts about it:
- How am I supposed to kill the Torrasque/zerg buildings? They just get reduced to very low health and can't seem to even be killed by battlecruisers on some occasions.
- I get that massed bio balls are annoying, but it seems like normal infantry serve no purpose once aircraft/vehicles are more prevalent. They can work, but using them seems to be redundant.
- Speaking of aircraft, they like to blindly charge into my AA fire, not sure if there's anything doable for that.
- Do you guys mind if I ask for some assets or tips on a few things? I'm interested in knowing how you got aircraft to fly in a circle, and the marine assets (the dL link for them seems to be dead).
