The Proditor Campaign
THE PLOT
"The year 2500 is the year that made history as the year of the zerg invasion of the planet Aiur. Meet the fate of the biggest traitor to the protoss race and see what is the price of honor and dignity."
Campaign events of "The Proditor" are happening in parallel to the events of the final phase of the protoss campaign "The Fallen" - the third Starcraft campaign - as well as in certain passages refer to the story of 'Brood War' or even to 'Starcraft II Wings of Liberty'. It is a metaphorical story about the collapse (moral or psychological), but also a philosophical debate about betrayal - her motives, effects and on attempts of rehabilitation. The main character is title Proditor (the world 'proditor, proditoris' means 'traitor' in latin), protoss, which rejected the ideals of his race and joined the ranks of the Zerg who were overruning his homeworld, also helping the Queen of Blades in carrying out her nefarious plan. Many locations and characters are fictional but they correspond to the Blizzard's original plot.
THE DIFFICULTY
There's the possibility of choosing the level of difficulty in all episodes. You can choose between the level "Easy", "Normal", "Hard" and "Epic". Level depends on the frequency of the waves, also their strength and speed of the game.
The difficulty of the campaign is average. Some missions are "lighter", others more difficult. Overall, the campaign is intended rather for those who have completed at least WoL in level "Normal." In the campaign, I use the concept of a strong hero, capable of influencing the course of the missions and such, which can be used freely in the first series - it's not neccesary to leave him in the base for security. Often the computer (through scripts) behaves like a man, so the campaign is also a kind of training before playing multiplayer.
THE INSTALLATION
The installation of "The Proditor" campaign is very simple. You have to download _all files_ (currently 8!) into your _STARCRAFT GAME FOLDER_ directly in folder "Maps" (so for example the path MUST BE like C:\Program Files\Starcraft 2\Maps\Episode I - The Collapse.SC2Map). Otherwise map loading will not be working. It won't be working if you for example create a folder "Proditor" in folder "Maps" - they have to be directly in "Maps" folder! To start the game just open "Episode I - The Collapse" in the SC2 editor and click "Start Test". The rest of maps will be loaded automatically (of course when you finish previous one). And of course - subscribes on!
NOTE 1
As you propably noticed I'm not very good in english. The campaign is originally full polish and it has been translated by myself (with help of google translator and english dictionaries) so there could be a few errors in translation or incomprehensible sentences or phrases. Also there could be still somewhere a single polish world or phrase in case if I skipped it inadvertently (in a tooltip of a ability, or unit's name or somewhere else). So if you will notice an error like that - inform please. And also - the triggers and some of data are still polish - I only translate the part for players. :) Sorry about that.
NOTE 2
- I would like to thank ProzaicMuze for his berserk ability - I used it with some modifications. Very good data work!
- Thank to Blizzard for a Fenix' and Zealots' artworks (I used it as a loading screen and icons of heroes)
- And finally very thanks to my brother - Sify - a Starcraft player who is a beta tester of my maps. Thank you!
- Thanks for Defiler - the tester which has played all the missions at the moment! :)

EPISODE III - MANY-AS-ONE AND EPISODE IV - MANY-AS-ONE
played a few missions. very evil map design! stopped because i didn't feel like managing two vanilla factions as well as a very powerful yet limited hero.
I played Episode VIII - Bravo!!! Map and story are very cool. There were something about other story so we need to play full Expansion))))) Thank you for your work)
Well guys.
I've activated the map. See the intro - it's ok. Then get into the gamplay and passed the whole 1st part of the mission (the siege) without any problem strictly with play.
Sure, the debug error are reporting bugs: 1. Data error reporting problem with creating model of 2 actors: nydus chanell death and ultrasish death - which is effecting on the game esthetic (omegalisks below are "dissapearing" insted of dying), 2. Trigger error reporting 2 problems - in every cutscene problem with hothey (which is classical, not old problem with patch 3 - it should be fixed by Blizzard) and the problem with "get_parameter" function within some triggers ("Rzucaj_burze" for example which is "Cast_Psionic_Storm" trigger - connected on the battle below) but I can't manage any impact of this problem to the gameplay and even aesthetic.
By Jayborino review I've could also repeat that: 1. There's a problem with DT blink abillity (fixed currently - it was very simple, just after one of the patches the "still masking" abillity has overwrite the "blink" command button - but the version of map is not updated currently because I want first to hear from you the problem you have) 2. There's a problem with the Morpheus model - which is currently buged (custom model from Sc2mapster but it's also problem with patch I guess) - it's only asethetical problem 3. There's NO problem (in my opinion) with zerg base at the beggining of 2nd part of the map - I've no problem with defendin it (playing on normal), all triggers doing well.
So I need to know from you - what's the problem you're reporting? Try to describe it or paste here some screenshots. By me the map is playable currently so I must understand where's the source of problem. :)
I will be obliged.
@nimbusqwe: Go
Episod VIII is still unplayable. Expansion Episode I is working.
Well if theres no problem on your computer then it might be just me
Ok. I check it tomorrow. This seems strange.
um well now instead of just skipping to the end I cant load it up at all because apparently the editor is telling me some files are missing from my StarCraft 2 installation.
I've uploaded also the expansion 1 mission again. It was wrong file. Hope it works now. Enjoy. :)
Ok guys.
I've fixed the bug in Episode VIII manualy and cant' check it on my computer. Please - report is it all right now.
@nimbusqwe
No need to rush I can wait as long as it takes so just take your time.
The same problem have Serzh so I would fix it untill thuesday. I don't know currently whats the problem is. There's a possibility that some triggers aren't working because of patches. But there's also little possibility that I've missed version of the map (when Jayborino has tested the map and made his review, he has implement some modifications so propably he resolved the problem - I've sent him the same version that I've upload here). So - little patience please. Try to resolve it quickly. :)
Hey somethings wrong with the prodigal son mission is broke to me because after morpheus and his forces spawn in the game shows the final cutscene
I would like to thank you too DEFILER. You were the most angaged tester of my campaign! It's awesome to have so support - you should be an official Blizzard campaign tester. Thank you once again.
Nibmusqwe, thank you for this amazing campaign, without doubt the best when it was still developed, and thanks also for welcoming me as a tester, it was an awesome experience, it's sad to see that you will not develop campaigns anymore... I wish good luck for the future so... Farewell :_)
SamsaraNoMas - thank you very much. Sometimes I;ve got and idea to create - for example - the map with the forest fire which is escalating. But then I realize that I don't have time even for gaming. :/
Hockleberry - yes, I'm live. :) I'm very sad about the thing that currently - when are releasing a lot of cool campaigns, very smart developed, the amount of SC2 players is not that big that 4 years ago.
Serzh19800 - I've replied to you in the PM. Please describe the problem. Jayborino has launched the map without problem, it could be a thing with the technical requirements because Episode VIII is VERY HEAVY map (I've never optimalize it - you could see that in the Jayborino review it's little lagging).
Last mission doesn't work as mission, only as cutscenes.
YES!!! It happened))))) Everyone can play the finale))))))
nimbusqwe! You live!
Map-makers never die...we just take long breaks.
This is one of the most creative campaigns i played. I loved your experimental map making style, especially the wind mechanic :O. You are a really smart person :)
Because I've recieved a lot of requests and I propably quit my campaign-maker career I've UPLOAD finally for you 3 new (old) files:
1. The Final mission but only in 1 version (which implies that you've help Confederates in 4th mission and beat Raynor in 7th mission) 2. Two missions from never released expansion ("The Tomb of Betrayer" - 1th and "The Rotten Apple" - 4th).
Have a nice play and sorry for this all time.
