Prime Resurgence v2.2
Prime Resurgence
This is a 5-mission Terran campaign based on the final events in Brood War. The campaign begins with Kerrigan's assault on the UED capitol on Korhal. As captain of the UED forces, your objectives are to contain the situation and regain the initiative in the Brood War. The campaign will culminate in a final showdown with both the Swarm and the Dominion.
You will take command of exciting new units, fight in unpredictable conditions, and still have time to gaze around at the terrain work once in a while. While the campaign itself isn't awfully difficult, your micro and your macro will be tested.
Requires HotS to play. Compatible with StarCraft II patch 3.0. Please post any bugs in the comments section below.
Instructions
- Download the .ZIP file and extract the contents to your StarCraft II maps folder:
(SC2 installation folder)\Maps\ - The subfolders will be created automatically. Don't move them out of the pre-placed subfolder or the mission launcher won't work, and the maps won't be linked.
- Download the Left2Die.mod file (included in the files page) and place it in the following directory within your SC2 folder:
(SC2 installation folder)\Mods\ This is because mission 2 uses some hero skins etc from the mod. - Run the Mission Select map. You can do this by right-clicking the file, and selecting "Open With..." then choose StarCraft II\Support\SC2Switcher.exe
Alternatively, you can open the Mission Select map with the SC2 Map Editor, then pressing "Test Document". Make sure you close the editor while you run the game, because these maps can be quire resource intensive. - Enjoy!
If the AI does not send attack waves when you run the map through map editor test (AI still sends attack when you run it from SC2Switcher.EXE), you need to go into your StarCraft II Editor, File > Preferences > Test Document > Game Difficulty > it should appear blank. Change this to any difficulty (has no effect on gameplay) to fix the issue.
This bug will affect multiple maps (not just mine)... thanks Blizzard!

What's Next?
A Protoss campaign is on the way, focusing on Zeratul's battle against Ulrezaj. A Zerg campaign told from Duran's perspective is also in planning stage.

Thanks for raising all this with me, much appreciated.
1. With the mission selector, are you sure you placed all the map files in the following path?
(SC2 installation folder)\Maps\Revolution\Episode I - Terran\
All the files need to be in that path for the "launch next mission" trigger to work.
2. Can you elaborate on mission 1 not having audio? Is it like, no sounds (unit responses, explosions, spell sounds etc) are played? No music?
3. Mission 2 uses Left2Die mod for some unit models and stuff. I forgot about that, I'll upload it now and add to instructions.
Once again, thanks for raising all this with me, really appreciated!
The thing is, all this stuff works perfectly on my computer, but I've never tried it on someone else's PC so it was never tested adequately.
I hope that Missions 3-5 work properly?
Maps from the Terran... fold are not opened ( i must open it from map folder), they open only the editor, mission select doesn't open maps, mission 1 doesn't have audio and mission 2 tell me i need lef2die mod and doesn't open itself
if i open the "select mission" map on the "Episode 1 - Terran" map i get a clean map on the editor, i have to put all map on "Maps" folder, and when i finally on the selection map and i selct the first mission, sc2 says that it doesn't find the map asd

I uploaded a zip file. It should be available for download now.
Let me know if you're still experiencing issues.
Thanks!
Where all the maps gone?
@TheSC2Maniac: Go
All maps were uploaded as "Mission Select", "Terran 01" etc but SC2Mapster automatically renamed the files to have underscores instead of spacebars!
That's the problem.
I will package all the files into a .zip to avoid the issue.
Thanks for letting me know!

You forgot to put the "_" on every "Set next map" trigger on the campaign selection. That's why not work.
EDIT: It happens to every "Set Next Map" trigger. To fisx it just delete the "_" on every map but leaving an " " in the name. E.G.: "Terran 01"
Uploaded the full campaign. Enjoy and please leave your feedback! Thanks.
"unable to open map" according to my SC2 client
Thanks guys. By the way, if you want to run the map without lag, it is best to drag the map onto StarCraft II.exe directly rather than using the Test function from the Editor. Less lag this way. Also, the ships running through buildings is not a bug, it is simply the No Fly Zones not being big enough. I could put more but in the end I didn't think it was a big problem.
I might make more missions.
Hope you enjoyed the cosmetics! =D
Very nice, good feel and plenty of action. Was angry with my thors getting raped by spinecrawlers but quickly realised I could just spawn 400 mutalisks and the mission quickly became easymode :P
Beautiful map. Very atmospheric with the rain and lighting. Cinematics seemed to be very demanding graphically... I have a great system, and they ran slooow. As you say, an easy mission. It would be interesting to try it without BCs.
As far as bugs, nothing to report except that I noticed a few of my ships flying through the Korhal buildings.
