DNA Wars Story

I'm going to create a single-player Campaign (eventually sometime in the probably distant future) based on the society herein presented:

DNA Wars is set in the city of New Rome, a prosperous station-state, which was founded on their mastery of genetics and cloning. They used a slave race of clones to build massive sky-scrapers, a veritable metropolis in space, so successful that the Protoss decided to build an embassy in the City.

However, as always happens, the slave race began to grow discontent, thinking the time for freedom was ripe.

The master race disagreed.

They setup segregation check-points (see mid left with the spotlights and the chain link fence) where they would test all passerbys for the gene stamp a DNA facility leaves on all of its product but that draconian measure stirred up anger from the slave-clones, uniting them into a single massive force.

The clones planned in secret, and then they struck, with little warning. The master race, seeing their doom upon them, fled in a panic, leaving dinners untouched and cars (aka Hellions) still lined up at traffic lights. Most of the master race was evacuated but some of their miltary stayed until the bitter end, to ensure a successful evacuation. You can find in various locations the defenders' bloody last stands (see garden in the SE residential platform, see outer corridors in bottom left).

Eventually the master race counted their home as forever lost and nuked it out of spite (see the nuked area near center). They also dropped their satellites onto the platform as a form of kinetic-weapon bombardment (see damage to highway on the right of map).

Now the textures tell a tale of neglect. Rust eats away at everything, and, in many places, the mesh under-carriage is showing through the platform's exterior plating. Four rival clone factions, each controlling a DNA factory, compete to gain dominion over what's been left to them.

So begins DNA wars.
