After a long hiatus, I'm starting to pick up kitbashing and stuffs. I'll eventually get around to completing the Knights of Tyrador Reforged project, alongside the things that I get inspired to do.
I won't be taking requests, because I'm too rusty to do that at this point, and honestly, I want to make what I want to, and then share that with those who might be able to use those endeavors in their own projects.
Important announcement!
With the release of the Knights of Tyrador Reforged Marine Pack, it should be obvious that I have the ability to kitbash again. However, due to time constraints and a general lack of interest, I shall be going on a foreseeable indefinite halt to making models once I finally finish the Knights of Tyrador Reforged.
As such, I'm halting my other projects, shelving my ideas, and won't be getting to the request on my table.
I've also successfully made a Hellion-Hellbat morph. The Hellbat isn't perfect, but it's close enough.

However, I have been a busy bee, trying to knock out some Knights of Tyrador Reforged models so I can get on to some requests. Some of you have been waiting a while, only fair that I simmer down the KoTR models and hammer them out while I'm ahead. Oh yeah, and an update to the ghost just for Dave.
I don't know what holidays you celebrate :shrug: so Merry Easteallowmas?
DISCLAIMER: In all the following images, they are in my custom testing world for these models. I have adjusted the specular multiplier in the lighting settings so the glare isn't as pronounced.
Now then, we'll begin with the Widow Mine:
Looks good, could be better. I think I nailed the uniqueness of it though, enough for it to stand out among other widow mines anyways. Don't mind that random bit poking out of the ground when it's burrowed. It's the armatures fault for having the leg so close to the surface. Tried to fix it, broke the leg.
Next off we have the Cyclone:
This one is an odd case, seeing as it's mostly a reskinned Umojan Cyclone, I was heavily restricted in what I could import and not completely disrupt the flow of the model. Doesn't mean I didn't try to import all the things. But obviously all the things had to go, so only some things stayed. Mostly black ops pieces that fitted the model well, at the time. Could use a texture adjustment in the future, but good nuf' for now.
We'll throw in the ghost early before the main attraction:
No changes to the model itself, per se, but it did receive a texture treatment. Grenades now have their original diffuse texture back. New specular, new emissive. Plasma rifle also has a new specular as does the helmet. There's a shine I promise, but as I disclaimed, I turned that way down on this preview map because I gotta be able to see. Too bright! Too bright!
*Drum roll* And the main attraction for the show tonight, the Siege Tank:
Additional plates of armor on the front, modified cannons, dulled textures because my god was that bronze ugly as hell, and some other misc pieces from the black ops siege tank. Is it just me or is this my best tank yet? Ah whatever, I think it is.

Juggernaut Gunship appears to be missing a file? I can't find one anyways, I could be blind though.
Also, if there's anything I'd like to request/suggest, I really like all of the tanks you've made so far, so I'd like to see more. It's entirely up to you, though.

It's time to have a discussion.
About how terrible some of the wave 1 Knights of Tyrador infantry models were. And how I've made them better.
I've just now gotten enough open time to be able to hammer out some new versions of the Knights of Tyrador Reforged infantry models. SCV excluded, it was right where I wanted it aesthetically.
The rest of the models however, desperately needed changes. Ranging from minor design tweaks to complete overhauls of the aesthetic, let's delve into wave 2 of the KoTR models. Wave 3 will be vehicles, so keep your eyes open for those.
I'm much happier with where the designs are at the moment, but that doesn't mean I won't change stuff in the future, it just means that I'm content with them for now.

Now then, we'll begin with the Marine:
Not many changes. I fixed a weight painting issue that I noticed on their left shoulder region, and gave them the Silver Marauder's back detail centerpiece to spruce the model up some.
Next off we have the Reaper:
The only change here is the introduction of the Umojan Marauder's backpack in place of a previous detail native to this model. This was done to thicken the jetpack of the Reaper and further differentiate it from other Reaper models.
The Ghost. This one's for you Dave:
This model got the love it needed, and deserved. Changed out it's shoulder pads and added several details. The headband of the standard Silver Ghost is back, sprucing up the design of the helmet. Equipped with Grenades and a new high caliber gun.

The most obvious change to the Marauder is the removal of it's previous backpack centerpiece, replacing it with the Umojan Marauder backpack. This was done to differentiate it from literally every other Marauder model, as other than the Umojan marauder they use the exact same backpack. Slight weight paint change to go with.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I modified the HOTS Nova spectre model slightly. Giving us our hero ghost: Anise.
She's as they say, a work in progress. She's just different enough from the Nova Spectre model that I'm tentative to release her. So I won't. Not yet anyways. She needs a lot of changes, but I figure one sneak-peak will prove I was serious about having a ghost hero.

Wow, you are an absolute pro by now !!! The models look amazing, even the ghost hero does (Looks like Umojan Ghost hero). There is only one little detail that bothers me a bit and that is the grenade belt of the ghost. The red glow doesn't fit the rest of the model, it would look better with the light blue color or TC. Also it's not that glossy making it weird.
But that is a bit too much of nitpicking. The model is awesome anyway. The headband at the end of the helmet looks awesome too !!!

Yeah, I'll get around to fixing the grenade belt eventually. Need to find some time to do it.
Will probably make it the light blue, as that's the theme. As making it TC doesn't make much sense at the scale of the model.
Adding a gloss is reasonably easy, just need to make the specular more blue and shiny, as the spec map is what handles the shininess.

How ya doin'?
I recently released the first wave of the "Knights of Tyrador Reforged" models.
I took a real hard look at the new terran skins from the warchest and I was utterly disappointed by what I saw. I'm making slight improvements here and there as I see fit so make the models look better. Gone with the over excessive glare and shine. Sure they still shine, but that's more the lighting than anything else.
Hope you enjoy them and be sure to make note of any bugs so that I can correct the issue. Thanks!

Definitely much better than the originals !!! Except the Ghost since theirs is more original than this, which is exactly the same as any other female ghost, just with shine.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure how to reforge the ghost, other than remove the excess shine and glare. I'm thinking of adding some details from Nova Ex3 to spruce that model up.
Main reason I added the helmet and replaced the hair was because I figured that having the exposed head doesn't make much sense.
That and I wanted to create a definitive difference between a Knights Reforged ghost hero I'm working on, and this model.
Both can't have the hair.

All I did was remove the excess shine and glare, and add some bits to enhance their looks.
The SCV did receive a true Reforge though, but I also wanted to keep the feel of the original models captured.
The Marine model I obviously swapped out the shield for the black ops shield model, and gave it the remastered marine weapon.
The Reaper model I added black ops marauder shoulder pads and the silver marauder ammunition casing for the bottom of the guns.
The Ghost all I did was add the black ops female ghost helmet. Real lame, will obviously change.
The Marauder I gave black ops marauder claws for the grenade launcher, black ops marauder knee pads and black ops marauder cod piece.
Currently I'm not happy with the Marine and Ghost. I don't like the overall shape of the marine, nor is the ghost really worth a download. Both models are going to be receiving more thorough reforges as I work on the vehicles. The Marauder could use some love as well to be honest.

but is still not done.
You can help me with that. I'd like to have some umojan structures. The adjutant has been sighted somewhere else and as I have finally downloaded paint.net I can make wireframes and icons myself. I need the following things:

-Engineering bay
-Auto turret
-Radar tower thing(I'll use it as Tesla coil)
-Ghost academy
-Factory
-Starport
-Armory
-Tech reactor
-Fusion core
-Stetman medic

I see you have created some great umojan stuff, but nothing is of use to me. I am sure your structure skins will be equally great.
