Cat and Mouse
Overview: The classic cat and mouse redone for SC2. Just like the sc1 version, but built much better. Gameplay: A multiplayer map only. The cat(s) is randomized out of all the players playing. When a mouse, your job is to kill all the cats. When a cat, your job is to kill all mice. Cat has 2 sources of income. Various gold bases around the map. You gain more mineral income, but is also more open to cat.
Has been released onto US server. If you wish to release it on another server, please tell me so I can note it here and send you the latest version.
With the new battle.net system, I am reuploading the map.

that bug is fixed in 2.2....
your friend was really late on pointing that out.
There is that bug of the rich mineral fields unable to be mined by Mice, my friend pointed out :)

Not at all nyteblade. I'll just update it here, I'll pm you with the modified one for SEA. I'll send you the latest version when I finish it. Hopefully you won't have the same problem as poffik did.

k, I'll throw that in with the next patch. I fixed the Cat's gas increased income. I don't know why it wouldn't refresh itself. But the new way I'm doing now is better, and you can keep track of how far your upgrade is.
Tyranid is right, cat gas income upgrade is still broken even in v2.1 which i posted on EU
I think most of your suggestions are actually balance bugs. These are some good suggestions guys.
I really like this game and would like to add suggestions.
-Zealots cost more or die quicker, at 25 minerals they can rally to a cat and hold it indefinitely, recommend increasing cost to 50 and decreasing health/shield by 1/4.
-Increase cost of Sentry to 100 and take away heal, it doesn't really serve a purpose.
-Cat gain a CD or energy based ability for dealing with the occasional air unit. Like a "hairball" web ensnare.
-Sporecrawler building for the mouse slave.
-Roach supply reduced to 1 and increase Roach cost to 175 OR increase cost to 200 and allow it to benefit +2 armor per armor upgrade instead of +1.
-Cannons need to be accessible to mice slightly earlier as they are the only way to deal with an early Kitten (Probes can't hurt it, too fast for Zealot surround), recommend reducing the health/shield of Forge to 100/100 and build time cut by 1/2 OR increasing build time on Kitten (it's only 10 seconds) OR giving Mice starting minerals of, say, 50.
-Add a tip to tell Mice they should upgrade their troops from Forges, Engineering Bays, and Cybernetic Cores to keep up with Cat upgrades.
-SCVs can make Mouse Holes more or less indestructible because they can surround and repair it quickly. Recommend reducing repair rate by 75% OR adding it as an end tier upgrade.
-Mice can collect gas, but they can't use it, perhaps giving Mice some elite energy using units that use gas (Ghost with ability to snipe through upgraded Cat armor) or allow gas to unlock abilities for the Mouse itself (blink, shield, hallucinate, temporary cloak) in order to reward Mice for achieving such a feat.
-Every 10 kills give the Cat a mineral (should drastically cut the insane early Zeal rush/spam) OR every building gives cat 1 mineral OR Pylons giving 2 minerals per, Nexus up to 6. The Cat needs a somewhat more reliable mineral income to keep up with Mouse upgrades. I'm hesitant about this one, I don't want a Cat so overfed that Mice can't keep up with upgrades, but the Cat's mineral income is unreliable and easily deniable (Probes can 4 shot their Nexus before running away / this could also make a good tip).
-Add a way to spread Creep OR remove Anti-Camp. Right now, when the Cat gets attacked, it is advantageous to fall back to the center to benefit from the Creep (faster regen + speed) and ramp/wall to prevent complete surrounds. (Fall back to Creep for an advantage could be a good tip).
-Place all High Yield Mineral Fields to the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions immediately closest to the center.
-I haven't had enough games on v2.1 yet (Bnet popularity ratings really hurt the game after update), but I cannot say I agree with the massive buff Armored Cat gives, recommend reducing the health buff to 100% maximum and increasing damage instead OR adding some sort of ability (Adrenal Stim, Nap).
-Revert Pigeon cost to 750, with its recent range (9) and invulnerable Pigeonling buffs, the thing more than fulfills the role of a late game siege engine against Photon Cannon spam, for the monster it is, 500 is way too cheap.
-Cat Extractor gas upgrades do NOT take effect until the original Extractor is destroyed and rebuilt.
-Yellow Mineral Fields cannot be mined by Mice.
Ok, I know that's a wall, but these are all things I think would improve the game... I will try editing them myself but triggers confuse the hell out of me.
EDIT: I have only been testing on v.1 until recently, I will continue updating as I get more games in with v.2.1

I did set dependencies in order, it did not work (i sent you PM already but I’ll post here too)
No, they are the same version, but while I was trying to fix the mining bug, I did play with the dependencies. That may be what's causing it, as you don't have the right dependencies loaded in the right order. I'll pm you with the dependency order. Hopefully that may fix it, also the screenshots helped lots. If it didn't fix the problem, I'll change all the ids to their name if possible, and send you the updated version and update the version on b.net.
No he did not upload it, i searched thoroughly and did not find any map that resembles yours

my guess is you uploaded a broken version but you use a good one on US servers.
Poffik, I tested it on b.net, and I didn't see any of the 'name errors'. This was version 2.1. I don't see how you can be getting those errors unless you changed the map. Did you? Because if you did, I'm no longer able to support it very well as there are changes to it. Somfi, could have uploaded it under a different name.
I uploaded the map to EU server using my account,
created a game with this map and added A.I players
began the game to see how it is and saw those name errors
then re-hosted same map and invited some of my friends to test it out
errors still were there
also there is no “Cat and Mouse XOXID Fixed” on EU b.net.. apart from one i uploaded which i deleted soon after because of name bugs
Those names are the id stuff. I see no reason to change it as it doesn't affect gameplay, and only viewable in the editor. None of these affect the game at all. When a mouse dies it still does what it should, so I'm not concerned about the text pop up. I may try to fix it, but probably only if it becomes annoying enough. The hotkey thing isn't an issue as I checked and it is there. I don't see why you brought this to my attention, when none of this is a issue in game and is unviewable except in the editor.
names are totally messed up,
mini probe which you train in nexus has name “Unit/Name/Probe2”
SCV’s name on the build tab is “Button/Name/RoboticsMouse2” and has no Hotkey
Mice grave name is “High Templar” and has a model of high templar :/
zealot is supposed to be “Mouse Warrior” i suspect but it’s not
Ultralisk’s name is “Ultralisk” and not “Cat”...
Supply depo which used for blocking has name “Unit/Name/SupplyDepo2”
When mouse dies some weird text pops up “Param/Value/7E24EA21” the number changes every time different mouse dies
there are tons of these small text problems :/
