IMPORTANT: If you import one of my models and some textures of other models or the terrain itself start flickering, turning black, or disappearing, you have to run this script over the imported model in order to solve the issue. Please PM me if it happens, so I can reupload it.
Custom SC2 models and textures based on existing ones.

very cool the DuGalle portrait :D
So the problem is only in the editor? Ok, thanks for the answer :)

I've Just tested. It works perfectly.
Fenix's Dragoon portrait don't take the texture :S
@Zarxiel93: Go
Duke marine is up. All his portraits are in the same package. And yes, I'm missing some textures, it's mostly because I get lazy.
I don't know if you forgot or if you don't want made it public, but you don't added:
thanks for Fenix :)
@JacktheArcher: Go
Good luck with that!
@Cacho56: Go
Ahhh ok that all makes total sense now. Thanks I'll be sure to try this when I have enough time! I'll let you know if I get any good results.
@JacktheArcher: Go
Yes, that's kind of what I did.
It's hard to explain given that I don't have much modelling knowledge, but I'll give it a try...
The vertex groups are (like the name says) groups of related vertexes. They can be used to select some parts of the model easily, to hide and show them when you need to, or (in this case) to be affected by specific bones.
If the mesh has the modifier "use armature", it points to the armature object, has the vertex groups named like the animated bones, and they're correctly assigned; then the animations will not only move the bones, but they will also move the mesh.
Here's what I did:
I've pasted the preserver mesh without bones nor vertex groups over a zealot model and merged them (ctrl +j selecting in first place the preserver model).
Then, I've taken note of which bones were manipulating each section of the original zealot's model and replicated them in the preserver.
To do it, I've used the weight paint and navigated through the vertex groups listed in the "SpaceProperties" section (Its icon looks like an upside down triangle. It's between the "modifiers" and "materials" sections of the bar at the right in the default view). When you select a vertex group using the weight paint view, the vertexes that are part of it turn red in blender (they also turn yellow or green if the relation isn't very strict).
For example, if the left cuadriceps of the zealot was asigned to the vertex group called "bone02", I had to switch to "edit mode", select the faces of the preserver that were in his left cuadriceps, and assign them to the vertex group "bone02".
@Cacho56: Go
Hmm I'm not sure I get what you mean. You just applied the preserver mesh to the zealot bone structure? I'm not great when it comes to terminology. It'd be awesome if you could explain it in a bit more detail. I'm not asking for a tutorial but a good bit of instruction and i think i can replicate what you mean.
@JacktheArcher: Go
I've selected the faces and asigned them to the correct vertex groups.
It didn't take too long... Actually, it's one of the models that took me less time. It's pretty easy with blender and println's addon.
@Cacho56: Go
What did you do to add the zealot animations to the preserver model? I can think of ways but they all just seem finicky and time consuming. Just curious on what you might've tried.

He's a templar that protected the Warpgate with Fenix and Raynor after the Overmind's death. He became the leader of the Shel'na Kryhas, the Protoss who stayed in Aiur.
He also saved and gave shelter to Jake Ramsey when he went to Aiur, and aided him in his quest.
I'm using him in my campaign, and I decided to share it, since there aren't much protoss portraits/models.
The Nerazim zealot is in my plans, but I'm waiting for LotV, hoping for some new boros models.
@Hammer107
1. Great stuff!
2. Who's Landranix (name rings a bell)?
3. You should do some sort of DT Zealot replacement.
@Cacho56:
Ok. So I don't need for that request I told to you. Also, you're right about Nerazim tribes, they were suppose to have a High Templar in their tribe because of what you said that Adun has been training them for decades on how to use cloaking abilities and you know that I read about them in the wikia.
@Hammer107: Go
Thanks for the info.
@Hammer107: Go
They suppose to be high rank warriors of the Nerazim tribe. There should be Nerazim "high templars", since Adun had been training them when he was hidding them.
@Hammer107: Go
No, I'm not taking requests.
@Cacho56:
Cacho, can you make a Zerg Spore Colony by using the same way what you did to the Sunken Colony by using your current Sunken model or Gna's Creep Colony body adding the Spore Crawler with orange bulbs? If its in your plans and you can't do it, please comment me.
@Cacho56:
By the way Cacho. Those Nerazim High Templars look cool, they look like Nerazim civilians or another type of Dark Templar which possesses similar psionic powers of the High Templar, am I right?
@Cacho56:
The SC1 SCV wasn't made by GhostNova. It was made by SoulFilcher. GhostNova made both the SC1 Firebat and SC1 Ultralisk.
