Push spawned attackers toward the enemy side to destroy their life crystal while protecting your own. Pick the right units over your enemy to push through your enemy's attackers.

I'm remaking a classic from SC1 for SC2.
Recommended players: 2 [1v1] or 4 [2v2]
Some details:
- Buy attacker armies at the top left corner of the map. Each individual unit purchase creates an army of that unit. These units will automatically attack toward the enemy's life crystal.
- Buy defensive structures and heroes at your Life Crystal. In addition to minerals, these special units require vespene gas.
- Mineral count increases automatically. To fasten the pace of game as time goes by, income and vespene gas increases as you kill more units.
- For more convenient purchasing, hotkeys are initiated at the start for each player. [1-4] are for buying attacker armies while [w] is the life crystal.
- You can still play with/computers by adding AI for a player slot. The AI just makes random units so don't expect it to be any good.

Thx for the great map Aiadan, me played nearly 500 matchs in last few days >_<
Suggestions:
-Make Roach a medium speed tank, 300 hp(mb make not light, not armored and less hp), 50 damage and 3 range with no penalty at melee, realy lack a medium speed, early tank
-Buff Marauders: 1) Increase range from 6 to 7(or 8 :P); or 2) Give him low range Anti-Air attack(mb with low splash); or 3) Give him Anti-Psionic attack; or other, for example Tanks is much better, only on 50 minerals more expensive
-Buff Berserkers: mb decrease cost to 450 and slightly increase health or give very fast speed, to make fast crowd control unit who resorts unexpectedly after the main army spawned
Anyway Map is very good balanced, and we play only in your original version, waiting 1.7 version, thx for your work ^_^

I hope you dont mind if I create a spin-off game based on this. The original map concept is not yours anyway, and I wont use the BattleCraft name or anything like that, and will give credit where due.
Suggestions:
Buff Roaches. I sent 5 groups against 3 groups of Ghosts and 1 group of Colossus. They were demolished. Ghosts and Colossus are supposed to be great against light units, Roaches are armored.
Increase Zerling cost to 125 or 150. They make up too well for the weaknesses of many units. Countering them becomes a bother when the only counters will get crushed instantly by your enemy's expensive units and they keep getting spammed and spammed at you. Made 10x worse against 2 opponents.
Something needs to be done about when an ally gets stomped in no time. Perhaps automatically adding 2 cannons to the surviving teammates base. Or resetting the Armageddon cooldown.
For the first 3-5 minutes of the game I think special units should have a 10-15 second cooldown so they have to be used more strategically and with less cheese.
Nerf Mutas. The only counter I've tried that seemed to work very well were Ghosts. Phoenixes were good but not cost effective.
Add more bacon. Yes, bacon.
Add Tic-tac-toe to a corner of the map while we wait for someone to open.
Everyone should start the game being able to choose 1 of 3 hero units that they can control but can't go into the middle. If you've played Platform Defense, having them upgrade with kills and gain new skills would be cool.
That's all I can think of now. When I get stomped again I'll might torture you with more. :D
Really though, awesome map. I've sunk HOURS into this, it's my most played SCII map.
Edit: Seriously, I want Tic-tac-toe. Use some Spine Crawlers. -.-
I think the special units are way to imba at the beginning. Make them more expensive to hold them down in the early Game :)

I've uploaded a new version yet again, the BattleCraft LATEST REAL version.
If this does not work due to sabotage again, I'll give up on trying to get a real map on EU during the beta at least, and hope for lockable maps or cross-realm publishing.
Hi, I'm using the german client and there seems to be a problem with this localisation because I can't see any bonus damages. I mean: I see, how much bonus damage is done, but not to which type of units! Instead, in every bonus damage description there stands something like "DamageVersusColon/..."
Is there any possibility to fix that? I don't know what units to build cause I can't read their strengths...
Besides, it's a really cool mod!
Good thing HateCrews map didn't get bumped to top this reset at least ^^
But yeah, it's nice finally having an official version on the top list so we can have some actual games going.

I uploaded the map earlier as a means to direct people here, and to know who the real author was. I was getting pretty fed up of seeing HateCrew put his name on it 2.2 , 2.5 original, 2.5 Real. etc etc etc.
I see your real map this time is getting bumped up nicely. So I`ll remove the map from my account, making it inaccessible for others, so that they can play your 1.6.

Ok, once again I've uploaded v1.6 as a localized version.
This time I've uploaded it as BattleCraft v1.6 REAL with added clarification in the map description.
*sigh* not only is Scyn's version not localized, it's not even v1.6 :(
The Param/Value/... thing is due to the map not being localized.
i just logged in and there is a "Battlecraft [EU]" on the top of the list, uploader a guy named "Scyn" with advertising that HateCrew versions are fake... it seemed the latest version however.

Alright so after Patch 15 and the database wipe, I took back the original name and published it under "BattleCraft". Author name is Tordecybombo now so it should be less confusing. If you do create a game (instead of just joining it), make sure to select the 2nd Other in the mode drop down menu. If you join a game, make sure the lobby looks like 2v2 instead of 3v1.
In the new version im planning, I weakened ultras headbutt damage so they dont destroy the life crystal as quick. Also added some new units (high templar and dark templar) that are great for countering ultras but not so well on others. So if your opponent mixes some units with ultras, mix some units w/ those templars yourself.
I also made marauders more useful in that they slow 65% speed and can slow massive units, therefore much more effect as a support unit against Apoc Beasts. Apoc Beasts are slower than regular Ultras so you'll definitely notice the difference.
Roaches are somewhat underpowered at the moment so I added a unique fast regeneration for them. If the roaches survive some enemy's wave, after 5 seconds of not receiving damage, they regen at a super fast rate. So it's as if they're a fresh wave of roaches after surviving an initial wave of enemy attack.
Some minor buffs to banshees against ground, hp buff to queen, damage buff to reaper so they can 2-hit 100 hp units, damage nerf to Doomsday Monolith, etc.

hovewer i feel 1.6 version has terrielle terible lacks in gameplay.
either apocalypsis beats powered up a lot or not having canons impact HUGELY. at this moment the only good startegy is to massing up apocalypsis with antiair (unless you managed to go for 1200 points so you can actually tryu anything else)
this unit not good coutnered with anything else, unless other apocalyspis + tanks or somethign backup so battle becomes to ultras vs ultras.
they kinda "should be owned" by iair in paper but actually even voids cant stop them - they ill destroy your pylon faster
sugegstions: to put x2 canosn (at least urrest) AND / OR icnrease pylon life (and armour)
now only ultreas works
they hav huge bonus and well yeah i won 1 game today just when i sent 1 ultra + 1 sniper outright
i don't know exactly how publishing works, but i think that if it's possible the removal, you can just publish the map without any version number, maybe adding "latest version" to the name (something like "BattleCraft Armageddon - latest version"), maybe even no version number written in the splash screen. Another thing you can do is writing in the description that only the version uploaded by you is the original... maybe this would work... probably there would be tons of kids still playing the wrong versions but this could help to regain popularity, if i were you, i would try these things... hope it helps
Any map uploaded by HateCrew is fake.
I think the only localized latest real version is the one I uploaded which is "BattleCraft v1.6 local".
I'm assuming the raging part on the loading screen for 2.5 FINAL is about his 2.0 version being removed from battle.net due to having borderline child pornography on the loading screen.
