Blizzard announced at GamesCom that Blizzard DotA will make an appearance at the upcoming BlizzCon and should be released around the same time as Heart of the Swarm. Considering the Map Marketplace is also slated for "around HotS," one could assume that BDotA will be sold on the Map Marketplace when it launches.
Frontline by Nash
Frontline is a class based cooperative Hero Survival/RPG where you play a persistent hero character in short battles (around 15 minutes) against waves of AI enemies in different arenas. The goal in each arena is to survive the waves and then defeat the boss. What enemies, bosses, the number of waves, and the strength of the enemies you will face is determined randomly depending on settings for the game in that arena. By successfully completing games in arenas, your hero will gain levels, improving in different ways and being able to learn new abilities.
i played this... it was a bit repetitive, but only after you've played it for 3 hours in one game...
it's a nice map structure... well done

That would be nice. Let me know if/when you make it and I'll have a look.
They may sell a new map editor software package in which you would have the ability to easily create Custom UI, edit character models w/o 3ds max, an easier interface to work with building triggers etc. and custom unique data assets. You will also be able to purchase data asset packs from the market place and you can sell the custom 3ds models you create for the game. I don't know but the market place needs to be something more then maps... hopefully you will be able to buy custom data assets and brushes and even units.
On a different not I love this game and I just wanted to comment on how well made it was. I happen to like games where you do repetative activities... like say diggin holes for diamonds. It's a fun game to play with your friends.... great job. I would love to create a gameplay review for my youtube channel when its ready.

Hah. Reason I left it as-well, I did the terrain so thank you. But SC2 is just too damn limited, and so was the time of Nash really. There's just no benefit in it, and no odds of people playing it :(
Also, Sixen, please note this post of mine regarding the marketplace:

Nicely polished map, super boring gameplay.

I have to agree with this. I think it's pretty silly to speculate that blizz dota will cost money on release - I'm sure they're aware that doing so will kill the mod's popularity before it ever gets off the ground.
its most likely a way to sell rpg maps. there are too much restrictions for the average mapmaker.
i guess the marketplace will be avaible once diablo 3 and its real money ah is out. it will be strange, selling uniques in diablo to buy maps in starcraft :d
A map that costs money will just be incredibly unpopular which matters alot if it's gonna be multiplayer.
The more maps I see I the more I don't think the map marketplace is going to be useful for another couple years even if they do implement it. Especially with the criteria that you have to use all custom art assets.
I appreciate the work put into this map... but there is just "something" about it that makes it really boring and unfun to play
They cant seriosly put a price on bliz dota. Didnt they already state that the mods would come for free?
Well Im actually perfectly fine if they charge for the dota as long as they give the assets (sounds, models etc.) for free!
if not...my hate will grow stronger...
