Bomberling by Dustin
I think everyone can remember that old SNES Bomberman game, where you can play with up to 4 friends and just bomb the hell out of each other, right? For those of you who can, and those of you who have no idea what i'm talking about, I highly recommend checking out this project, which is essentially the same thing: a 4-player Bomberman FFA. You maneuver your character around a randomly generated map dropping bombs and blowing stuff up, simple as that!

Posted Jun 28, 2011methink you should make it more like atomic bomberman with the extra items . Way funner game than snes versions, since there is more items to help with strategy. Also, I suggest an 8 player version to add to the chaos (with maybe 20-60% more space). 4 players is too chaotic for a game like that.
UI looks great and graphically it's well made, but I really hope it becomes more chaotic.
In case you don't know the items and would like to add them, here's a list.
Speed, extra bomb, flame, golden flame, glove (for throwing bombs 1 square away or over rocks), punch (knocks a bomb over 1 square[it's the only way to get out if you're double bomb trapped]), kick bomb (cannot kick if 2 are in a row), jelly (kick bombs from that player now bounce off any object it comes in contact with), disease (random plague, this is a fun one for sure), remote bomb (works like a remote mine), and multiple bomb lay (lays all your bombs). [all these can be used using just 1 extra keyboard key].
