Anyone interested in melee, David Kim has posted a Situation Report on the 1.3 balance changes.
Card Shuffle by Fullachain
This was a pretty popular map during the War3 days... Players have a deck of cards and are dealt a hand, gradually gaining more cards overtime. They can use their cards to summon units to the field and cast spells. It works quite similar to The Card Game, but I aimed to go more in the direction of less units and greater control, interactions and combo's much like an actual TCG such as Magic the Gathering.
SC2Layout Tutorial by Helral
SC2Layout UI files are still very much unused and unexplored as of right now. However, Helral has been actively looking into them for quite some time now. He posted the first UI tutorial not too long ago, and has since posted a more in-depth tutorial covering the following:
- How to use custom layout files in your map
- What does the override file look like
- How to adjust the correct frame
- How to move a frame
- How to hide a frame
You can also check out our wiki for more information on Layout files. Keep in mind, 1.3 has outdated some of this information, though most of it is still good to read for those less experienced users.
Oops, I just made the wrong copypasta, :P. All fixed.
just read the news item about me, shows again that Sixen didn't read my thread ;p only skimmed the first bit. Edit: apparently he copy pasted the wrong list
The Tutorial section covers the following atm.:
The list named in the news are what the SC2Layout files supplied by me do.
just updated the wiki so that the information in it is up to date, except for the file list.
Although you can use the file list to get the correct references, they don't contain all the available frames atm.
