yeah, Gold is a bit messed up. Will look into ways to solve it. Income panel is in plans (disabled for display) , before release it wanst fully realised how to make the calculations. 0.15 added Beginners guidelines on what to do.
So I just played the game v 0.14 i believe and wanted to give a bit of feedback.
Overall it's a nice idea to bring an Anno like mod with its unique way of gaining gold, but the gold seems not so important in the later stages of the game. Maybe you should add maintenance costs for buildings and army.
Income of ressources is only shown for gold, but the panel to show ressources is well done, however, you could show the income on the panel instead of via mouseover.
Tooltips could be nicer and more informative. Buildings possibly smaller (the models are cool tho). More info on how the game works, as not everybody knows Anno and the likes.
It is clear that the game lacks a lot of polishing but I must admit it has a lot of potential.

Gives me hope that people are still willing to try new things on battle.net.. and that there are still people there..
