Project Stranded by EmBeRNaGa
Project Stranded (temporary name) is a six-player fast-paced micro-intensive shoot-and-run co-op story-driven Zombie and Zerg survival RPG map. You and your comrades must travel to a mysterious planet to investigate a strange infestation epidemic that took place many years ago. Unfortunately, the vessel that takes you to this planet gets struck by an unknown entity. Now, you and your comrades have crashed landed and are stuck on this dangerous planet. With no help incoming, you and your comrades must traverse the planet and find a way to survive!
Looks really cool I would give this a try when it finishes
So I went on a whim, went and looked up on Sc2Mapster today since I haven't caught up in Sc2 in awhile (Hearthstone is very addicting). What do I find? My map project featured on the map page roughly a day ago! Thank you for the feature! I totally was not expecting it.
Although, I haven't updated the map in about 3-4 months thus far, I'm still very much working on the map. Albeit, very slowly. In fact, I would say it's on a small hiatus for the time being since real-life problems. Nonetheless, the last time I worked on it was about 3 weeks ago, and I did some testing on enemy interactions. Particularly those involved with environments. While I do want to make the map full of challenging enemies, I do have to be careful. I don't want to make enemies feel too cheap when they kill you. When you die, it should be clearly your fault alone and not the game's.
I'm an amateur Galaxy Editor map-maker, so if anyone wants to help assist me with creating the game or even testing it. That would be fantastic! There is very minimal progress at the moment. However, with enough people backing up Stranded, I can make it very awesome. Even if it is simplistic at heart and not full of the magnificent stuff that maps like say "Ultimate Boss Battles" or "Impossible Bosses" have. I'll certainly try to get it to that level of greatness. :)
Once again, if you have any questions or just want to help out, PM me on Sc2Mapster/YouTube or contact me at [email protected].
I plan to have some sort of video and screenshots up sometime relatively soon for the occasion. ;)
