We've got another Melee map showcase here, the details are as follows:
- Base has a rampless Choke, easy defended by using the ledges. However, the ledges also works like a double edge, it is very easy to tank drop etc.
- Main has a backdoor expansion, with a second path in. This path is blocked of by neutral Force Fields. Which can be removed using massive units, opening up more paths.
- There is a close third, however it is really hard to defend. The map is very big in the middle, and there are 3 watch towers to gain map vision.
- The map has a lot of differention between high-medium and low ground
- The main is basically weak to most early cheeses, reaper canon rush etc. However it is pretty easy to defend front attacks until they gain massive units.
- The middle bases do not offer gold or high vespene gas as they are not as hard to defend as other middle expansion on other map, e.g Antiaga shipyard
Hehe I know I know, I was honestly surprised this map was spotlighted when I also sent in my Heaven''s garden 2.
Really check that map out, its like 100x times more beautiful and work on the terrain then this map. However, this map is more awesome gameplay wise so
---I wish I had more free time so I could fix details, this map was more like I have an idee for a backdoor expansion map. (Then I got the idea of recording whole Borderlands 2 it takes forever....)

Overall I like the map , but you should definetly work on your terraining skills. I mean it's not the most important , but if you take a look at Metropolis, you can see it's fuckin beautifull, as well as the other maps in the map pool...
There are a lot of cool tutorials on Mapsters including terraining. You should definetly check them out :)
I been thinking on adding in more holes around the center ot amke the map have more chokes and have more "hollows".
I actually have a forcefield blocking expansion on a map I am working on-_-
Currently I am working on a rework of an older 4 player Map I did, and it goes around in like iteration. After that I think its back to improve this map.
Hmm I was thinking on fans etc but I wanted this space platform has been lost in space feel( I was lazy). Maybe I just cant do space maps, there is any water to play with..
I kind of like Hollow. A nice narrow choke to defend, without a ramp but the defender still has a high ground advantage.. sort of. The only improvement I could see is a few more chokes throughout the map, Maybe an extra pair of Xel'Naga towers by the force field paths. That does add a different dimension to the "can't get here until later" concept of a melee game.
I would like to see a force field block on some of the expansions, perhaps the center one, that would almost make them gold/rich worthy. If you could improve the neutral force fields size and/or placement, that would be a good cosmetic enhancement. There are many doodads for Space Platforms in the Galaxy editor, I'm not sure what ones would be best for this map, but fans, stopped cars, smoke, cables and generators can't hurt too much.
I would look forward to playing this map.
