One minor tweak that'd help out a lot in the forums is to implemented a :visited style for links - dim them a little, perhaps

I'm hesitant to be too critical, since its easy to be critical of anything new. However, the demo simply made me feel overwhelmed by random information (the latin, the polls, the random text at the bottom). Without a more realistic beta, I'll have to throw out my vote that this new version, while cool in many ways, be rejected in the end.

I don't think the new theme is working for me at all. I switch to it and I see a lot of fake text which I assume is to test the layout (I forget the term for this off the top of my head), and then the various stuff like the polls and forums all look out of whack and often things that clearly look like code or HTML tags are shown.

This is on Firefox 3.6.3 on XP Pro.

Well, on behalf of glitches first then. When actually clicking switch to skin it goes to the next page and shows a load of code in the main window. After refreshing the chosen skin stays and the site appears normal.

After that reverted back to the old one. Like the blue style better and it being less anoying to eye sight. (which is most likely a personal preference :))

I have a suggestion.. When your in the map section and you put your cursor over the map image it expands right, well i think it should be changed so the image fits to screen.. or instead of roll over.. when you click it and you have to click the title to go to page..

it looked good in the screenshot, but its so 'bright' and 'highlighted' looking its kind of distracting IMO. its like the text looks fuzzier or something.... then when its not looking fuzzy its kind of dull to me. call me a hater... im sticking tothe blue for the time being-

The cool, dark colors of the current theme are much more appealing/relevant to the cold, dark universe of Starcraft. Blizzard provided the fansite kit (http://us.starcraft2.com/downloads.xml) to show visually appealing Starcraft fansites. SC2mapster has successfully utilized the kit. Our current theme is the PERFECT BALANCE of both industrial (essence of terran) and futuristic technology (essence of protoss) while the mix of the muddled blue and black creates a soothing look in a chaotic world (essence of zerg).

This new Halloween theme looks too dirty and Orange Boxy. Kudos to Profet for making a fantastic theme however, it simply doesnt fit.
There are exceptions that have an acceptable appealling industrial site, one would be the official blizzard site for Starcraft2: (http://us.starcraft2.com/). However, that template is visually buffed while the curse.com templates are strict within a simple blog structures.

Compliments the industrial-cool theme of SC using the metal-tile background provided in the fansite kit. Current theme also has highlights on edges of boxes creating some depth and sophistication.

Damn this theme is slick! Great job!!

It looks good, but I'm more of a blue person. Blue is my favorite color, so I'm biased towards blue.

edit: Sorry there seems to have been a visual bug or something, looked like crap when I pressed the link. Looks much better now, but I still prefer the old theme.

Nice Terran theme. Can we get a Protoss and Zerg theme, too?

It looks kinda messed up right now, whole bunch of stuff in a foreign language, polls and stuff from a specific map were listed on main page, etc, etc...

Because StarCraft 2 is more based on blue i'd also like if fansite could be blue like current/old theme is. even tho new theme looks great but if we could get that theme on blue color? =)

On the project management pages (pages like http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/cubetd/pages/main/edit/ etc.), the Eagle icon thing on the top left overlaps slightly with the Overview button. Seems there is a spacing issue or something.
