I agree with Kiki, Savage was a great series with great potential but S2Games is full of idiots who decided to make a Dota clone that really is not all that appealing. If I wanted to play HoN, I'd simply go play Dota on WC3 for free (although the play base has dropped by more than 50%). Also, LoL is more like a beefy Dota for me. It features the great, competitive gameplay with some nice additions. It is not quite the same but then again, it is better in every way. The game has gotten a little boring for me, however (like most games). Hopefully, Icefrog can make Dota 2 and give it some nice upgrades that we have not seen in a dota game to date. If he can, perhaps it can crack into LoL's user base a bit. As it stands, though, LoL has a well designed business plan that is working and making them quite a bit of money and will not be challenged by the likes of something with a weak business model like HoN.

i don't fell sorry for the creators of Hon xD, savage 1 and 2 were way better then any dota game but they dropped it like a rock to make a dota clone lol

LoL is FAR from Dota 2, it just borrows on the concepts of dota and instills it's own style and slightly different gameplay. HoN is the true spiritual successor to Dota WC3 currently on the market, and I can only see "DotA 2" by Valve dominating simply because it's literally going to be a standalone dota, not a dota-clone, upkept by the most successful curator of the DotA map over the years (IceFrog). I just feel kind of bad for the creators of HoN because their product is amazing and full of quality.

think its going to be hate for them to make much money from a stand alone one like eviltenchi84 said theres LoL and hon out there atm

too bad dota 2 has already been made. Nothing will crack into League of Legend's player base because the system is set up so well.
