    I am working on a zerg/ infested map and would like to know if it is possible to create some terrain cliffs that have an infested look to them. If not, I understand but I just thought I would ask!

    Hi,

     

    I would like to create a buff, or rather an ability that when unit (a) reaches a specific state it will automatically morph into unit (b) for a limited period of time or better yet, until it runs out of energy.

     

    Here is the example:

     

    when Primal Kerrigan reaches 250 energy (starts with 100) she will automatically morph into the Xel-naga form of herself until she runs out of energy.

     

    I imagine this ability/ buff is pretty simple but I don't know how to implement it. If anyone could help me that'd be great!

     Yes, I think that is what he is referring to. I know I am anyway, but instead of a Terran drop-pod a Zerg drop-pod :-)

     When you find out how to do that please let me know. What you have is a movie, which is typically only used in Blizzard-style maps.

    posted a message on Allied Commanders Mod

    Hi all,

     

    There are some features in the Allied Commanders mod that I would like to add to my map such as the caster units ands Stukov's infestation ability but I don't want the mod to override my triggering. If at all possible I'd like to keep this mod in my map so I don't have to copy and paste everything. Any help would be great.

    posted a message on Story Mode

    Hi everyone,

     

    I've been working on my map now for a while and while I am finishing things up I keep finding new things to add! One of the "things" I would like to add is a replica/ remake of the HotS story mode set where after the loading screen finishes you enter the Leviathan or something like that that has a bunch of different options--one to Launch the game itself, one for army upgrades, one for heroic upgrades, and one for misc. I understand that this is a bit time consuming and has A LOT of triggering work involved but I would like to do it if someone could give me some pointers and how I could accomplish this. For those who do not know what I am referring to here is a google search that contains all the images that I am talking about. I am NOT NECESSARILY looking to add the actor characters as I have recently been informed that takes a lot of additional time--or not maybe? If not, I would like to add those but my main focus is getting a nice polished Story mode UI that players can click on button to go to another page and return and return again, etc etc. with all the upgrades be applied and be saved with banks or whatever the case my be. If someone could either respond here or PM me that'd be great!

     Hey all,

     

    I am working on a map that is heavily focused on the zerg and their infestation and would like to add a male version of Kerrigan as a character. The model that I am looking for is similar to that of this Zerg Harbinger but rendered to look more like this with a blue aura instead of purple. Basically, I would like to have a model that is just Kerrigan, same textures, wings and everything just made to look like a male instead of a woman by changing the facial features and the chest area/ lower area a bit to be more masculine as well as change the aura around this model to blue instead of purple. In terms of animations I think the current Kerrigan animation would be just fine. If this is something anyone can do please let me know as I am really looking for a model like this! Thanks!

    I'm a bit new to the AI system and am trying to set up a custom melee AI that will build buildings and units. However, so far the AI will only build drones and extractors but no spawning pool for zerglings. Am I missing something?

    Hi all,

     

    I am working on a map that has a hero unit that evolves several times throughout the course of the game. For the first couple morphs I used the Niadra/ Swarm Queen morph ability as a template as there are three of those but I still need two or just more morph abilities. I have already read the guides/ watched the videos and i'm still stumped on how to make them. If anyone could help me do this that'd be great!
