my game - Desert Tankbattle has a rank resetting issue as teams are selected based on rank. Tanks (heroes) are bought in game as it progresses. I want to prevent buying of certain tanks if rank is too low.
I thought adding a requirement in addition to, 'hero in range' requirement would work, but having trouble how to do so & linking it to a rank.
1. was not able to add to the mod file. same error. please walk me thru this.
2. couldnt figure out how to add the components files to the map file. it appeared as though individual files in the components folder are supposed to be moved into the map folder, but map is only a file.
3. merging feature requires 3 files to be merged. I could not figure out a way to merge only two.
thanks for that. If this works, that'll be awesome. Just to clarify, w/ the new doc, you are talking about merging the 2 files or is there another way to add it to the published map?
I've been working on new images and find I can't upload them. I get the error:
unable to load image from 'C:\Users\chris\AppData\Local\Temp\StarCraftIITemp\Import/Desert Tankbattle_publishVersion 1.0.SC2Map\Icons\btn-DT-UI-OutpostAbandoned1.tga' (Core: a required object could not be found)
When I open a new map file, there is no problem w/ uploading images. Only in the game file do I have an issue.

Yes rank is trigger based, going from rank 0 to rank 25. Only trigger based, so I am not sure how to count them in upgrades (in data).

hey funky, this is in regards to the text error posted by Trieva, "Text is too for a single line"
I have a lot of these errors. When testing game, all text in dialog boxes post a paramater value error.
Does this have to do w/ the font size?
any help appreciated. plz keep in mind, im young at this.
thanks.

I have a arcade map that has not been modified since 2014. I am trying to open it now to edit the glitches from patch 3.0, but I get a error message:
"dependency data could not be loaded." battle.net info not available for 'battle.net: DTB MOD Z (Latest)
Appreciate any help.
