Yeah looking good so far but I would suggest to make the bones more bulky so it could be seen better from sc2 games perspective. Just look at some other skeleton models and you will get the idea.
Zack Petrock is an awesome artist who has some great anatomy tutorial videos. Actually he has added some new free tutorials about stylized and real anatomy. I should check it out myself lol
Hi! I want to make a 'wc4' game in UNITY!!!! Can we work together on this? Basically, I'll just need the models. We can do more than One map on Sc2. Pretty much the game framework and also releasing a map editor? Are you in!?
I am not sure if it is possible because of copyrights and we would need much more people who could do that. No way we can make something like wc4 with just two of us .
Will you be making an organics sculpting/modeling tutorial? Actually, anything where you vocally go through the interface and explain what you're doing step by step would be great. I plan to go through all of your videos once I get back into modeling proper, but I've been hoping to get into organics for the last decade and haven't had a good starting point. I struggle with traditional learning methods. If you are not comfortable with voicing over a tutorial, particularly one of considerable length, you can give me a script and I can do it for you.
Not sure about another tutorial especially about organic sculpting since I am still learning it myself. I can post some links to other tutorials by on that subject.
I was playing with the anatomy too much but I learned something new which is nice. Next I will be adding armour to this guy. I am making a statue but I will probably reuse this base in future.
Yeah, I have one question : is there a way I can download your videos? I don't have internet at my house, so I could download it at my friend and watch in my home.
Unfortunately I didnt store these vids but I guess its possible to download them from youtube somehow (ask google =))
Maybe you are right but I just got the newer version of the viewer and it works! I used 1.0.0.16 before
Version 1.0.0.18
- CascLib now determines default storage locale and uses it when 0 is passed as dwLocaleMask
- Fixed bug in CascOpenFile that prevented files from Heroes of the Storm to be open
I tried to extract that particular folder as a whole and I did it with two versions but the result is the same . Maybe I am missing something? I downloaded the cascviewer and then I choose to open heroes storage from the viewer and I get tons of folders. Next I just try to export
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!! ( jumps on desk and does a backflip !! )
FINALLY it WORKS !!! Animations are supported !!! After months of f*g breaking my head, throwing pens around, cursing the paint of my walls, reading other guys codes (without understanding), etc.... my script imports animations from Starcraft 2 AND Heroes of the Storm!!!
And yes it does support m3a files !
Lots of caveats still but I will work on that before throwing it into the wild :)
yeah. I was thinking to use them as a reference but I still would like to sculpt everything myself. This way I can learn something new =) I ll use some of your uploaded models to get better preview of heroes's anatomy style .
Any progress you can show? (Just curious, really love your art :) )
Thanks!
Well I am slowly sculpting alliance statue but before I do it I need to get the base human anatomy first. So at first I did it too realistic and now I decided that it should be more stylised and exagerrated like all warcraft characters. Anatomy is something I really need to practice more.

I recommend the "Skeleton and muscles video" it has a ztl tool with a small tutorial where author explains the muscles
then of course gnomon tutorials. This is the place where I learned 90% of what I know. It has everything about art not just organic stuff.

thats it for now. I will try to post more but later.

Hey there!
I am having some problems while extracting Hots models. When I hit extract a get this kind of error :
Tried many random files with different extracting settings , nothing helps. Also I have official latest build of Hots and older version as well.
Do you guys know how to fix this ? Maybe I am doing something wrong? There is also no list file for the Hots.
