I'm pleased to announce work is in full swing again. First off two more Talon weapons of war have entered the battlefield.

Talon Vaporizer

Furthermore I've been working on the Mothership, attached below a first-impression. Its not yet fully complete. some effects aren't working as I want them to. But I wouldn't want to withhold a preview of the work so far. Next to the Mothership I've been cracking heads on how to tackle the Disruptor. The actual model doesn't allow loading into Blender making it difficult, but I found some surprising abilities within the Sentry and used some parts of both that and the Oracle to create a makeshift Disruptor-like design. Its still very basic (and not yet sure how detailed I want it to be).

But some progress there.

 Here's my next line of models: 

SC2 - Adun Immortal (New)

New, alternative appearance of the Adun Immortal skin. Credit for the idea goes to R0binicus.

LotV - Vanguard (New)

New, alternative appearance of the Tal'darim Vanguard from LotV

SC2 - Immortal [New (V2)]

Updated the new, alternative appearance of the Protoss Immortal

LotV - Annihilator [New (V2)]

Updated the new, alternative appearance of the Nerazim Annihilator from LotV

So, it's apparently what I and about 83% of the SC fan-base had guessed all along, despite a few insisting on Dehaka and either Valerian/Horner/Tosh/Mira.  That means definitely the next will be Terran and THEN we'll have Dehaka.

So, Talandar (Well, I call him that since Fenix is virtually dead, no bother insisting) actually shares traits with Nova's Stance Dance, since he'll change between his Talandar/Arbiter/Dragoon forms.  Talandar has all his skills inherited from the LotV campaign, Dragoon Talandar has AoE ground and AoE air abilities and an Alarak ultimate that reduces all cooldowns.  Arbiter Talandar is just a LotV Arbiter that can cloak along.

One thing I actually liked was the 'champion' system for each unit type he has, though I wished it was actually a trait for Terran Mercenaries.  Maybe it'll be that for the next Terran commander, in which you can upgrade ALL units to a Mercenary variant.  Here are the champions for each Talandar unit.

/edit  Definitely the Purifier skins for buildings here are better than Blizz's ones.

- Kuldaris (The Reclamation short scarred Zealot) - Legionnaire Zealot

- Talis (Adept chick killed in the Zeratul Prologue) - Adept

- Taldarin (The Dragoon hero from Ressurection IV) - Immortal

- Warbringer (Reaver hero from Enslavers) - Colossus

- Mojo (Scout Hero from Enslavers) - Scout

- Clolarion (Purifier leader from LotV) - Carrier

Other traits includes free tech access to all buildings and no Vespene cost to them (Just buildings, units still need gas).  The only bad thing is that they didn't include the Energizer (Maybe because it's connected to Karax, already).

/edit  Definitely the skins for Purifier buildings, here on SC2Mapster, are alot better than Blizz's.

Get ready commanders! This mission will decide the fate of purifiers’ homeland. Their troops and Phoenix will be our powerful allies in the war against Amon. Maybe one day in the future, they will join us in the CO-OP missions, before that, our job is responding their trusts!

Introduction:
Amon's Saboteurs have paralyzed Cybros’s power System. Their fleet in high orbit keeps attacking the ship with aerolites. Shield generators on Cybros could provide protection from these attacks, but they can’t work without energy.
You and your ally are the last hope to save this ship. Use your workers to deliver solar crystals to the shield generators. Use them as the emergency power source to activate the shield.
During your mission, there will be more and more aerolites, deconstruct the photonic anchors to increase your solar crystals, so that you can protect larger area.
Defense the ship until purifiers finish the emergency reboot of the core matrix.

Your missions:

• Protect Cybros until purifiers finish the emergency reboot.
• Do not allow too many aerolites hit Cybros.
• Paralyze the megalithes before their memory lattice are totally corrupted. (Optional)
• Try to find the secret on this ship and unlock the dark knight mode.

Features:

• A good distribution is the key to win the game, you can remove solar crystals from the shield generators in the save area, and deliver them to the places that really need them.
• You can purify the infected megalithes in bonus mission. But pay attention to its singularity cannon, it’s probably the most powerful weapon in CO-OP missions. (Can mostly destroy everything in the area).
• We created elaboration custom models/animations/effects for this game, and tried our best to bring you and your friends a good game experiences that close to official.
• We hide a special game mode inside, try to find the secret on Cybros, and get ready to try the return of the greatest hero of Protoss.
• This game contains difficulty adjustments and various enemies. Amon’s troops will choose different race and tactics each time.
• This game provides multiple languages (English, Simple Chinese and traditional Chinese). We wish everyone around the world can join this game and have fun. All Starcraft players belong to a big, friendly family!

Megalith is a very powerful unit. The singularity cannon can banish nearly anything to the void.



For the greater good. You may have to deconstruct friendly buildings to get tactical advantages.




In dark knight mode, you’ll fight with only one hero with his ship.

I have a few thoughts, though they're not actual name ideas.

In a map like this you have two styles of name that you could go with. You could give it a cool, lore-based name that doesn't really tell much about gameplay, but sounds really cool, like your "Shadows of Chaos" idea.

The other option would be to have a name that doesn't quite sound as cool, but is a little more descriptive. Obviously you don't want it to be too descriptive, but something simple that at least gives you a vague idea of what the theme/gameplay might be like. An example of this is the game "Archers" which is basically a third person One-in-the-chamber game.

I personally like the second better. When I'm looking for a new map, I am much more interested in a map that is a little more descriptive, and a little less on the epic/lore-sounding name. But that's just me, other people probably have different preferences.

I don't have any ideas for you if you prefer an epic-sounding name, but if you want a more descriptive name then maybe something like "War for (name of land)", or "The Sieges of..."

Sorry I don't have any good ideas for you, I'm not good at making up names, but hopefully this will give someone an idea.
