Unfortunately, you can't just "import" the file. You have to make sure nothing is selected to re-import it, else it will create additional sub-folders like a maniac for no apparent reason. You have to delete and save the map so that nothing gets selected, then import and save again. It's really tedious work.
you can change where the import is going at the screen where you select which files you want to import.
At the top of that screen is an input field which you just have to make blank to import to root.
At the dependencies themselves, you have a local tab and a battlenet tab.
The local tab is used for local testing only. if it is not set then you need to login with the sc2editor to bnet so it can use the published version.
The battlenet tab is used for online play, and local testing if a local file is not specified.
So what you basicly need to do is:
load the map in which you want to use the mods.
open up the dependencies window
click "add other"
go to the battlenet tab
search for the published versions
add these as dependencies
repeat steps 3 through 6 for each dependency you want to add.
Now make the other changes that you need to the map so the data from the mod is used.
hmmm the problem seems to lie somewhere with the ConsolePanel....
The following seems to fix your problem, but it might have unwanted side effects when using cinematic mode.
Trigger -> Show/Hide UI Frame -> Hide Console Panel
have you tried moving them out of sight using the anchors?
you will most likely also need to re-arrange the icons then, because they are probably linked to the label for positioning.

@DaveWilma2011: Go
you said you changed the 3rd value from this list.
the 5th is the selected unit color.
the normal unit color is dependent on what ally toggle you use (hostile/neutral/ally/self vs player colors)

did you read all the replies to that thread?

Icons or Images is nicest IMO.

found these values somewhere listed. it's RGB hex formatted.

the group panel is in-game-generated so we cannot alter it. :(

use this frame type:

the best workaround is to use a dialog method for either the progress bar, or the experience bar.

@CrazyTwigman: Go
why not look it up in the view menu. Think you are looking for the stuff listed in the Show Layer submenu.

you can move it somewhat If I remember correctly, but it requires a specific setup I think:
this anchors it to the ConsoleUIContainer instead of the InfoPanel.
something like that. Sadly I do not have any time to check it. just posting this in a quick break at work ;p

Is it by any chance also black?
If so then see World Bottom setting in the Data Editor - Game UI Data.
Also can you perhaps post an example map with the problem? That way I can more easily find out what the exact problem is that you are having.
