Having never done any modding for Starcraft 2 before, I'm nonetheless curious to start. I think that the original Protoss Carrier had a rather interesting design and it'd be cool to see it return as a Nerazim unit. These doodles aren't final, more or less just a starting point, you can see where I got bored with the designs and just sorta scribbled the last few details... eheh...
Current gameplay concepts (subject to change):
Name: Phantom
Hull: 200
Shields: 250
Weapons: None
Abilities -
Build Shade: The Phantom can construct up to four Shades, which it launches in order to attack. Shades cost more than Interceptors but have a more powerful attack.
Adun's Rift: The Phantom casts a blue mist over a target area that lingers for a few seconds and blinds any enemy air unit that passes through it for up to two minutes.
If anyone has any ideas of their own for what would make cool weapons/abilities for the unit, I'm all ears.
I'll be posting more refined concepts for the unit in here later in the week. Though I have some experience with 3D modelling and porting custom models I've made into various games, Starcraft 2 is definitely new territory for me. Hopefully this little project takes off, I guess we'll have to see.
