Hmm, for Difficulty of Mission Two. Either add more Anti-Air for the Zerg, or take away the player's ability to use Air. I just brought in like 5 Void Rays and completely steam-rolled the entire map. Noticed there was a ton of Ultralisks standing guard though.
Gonna test the Third Map now.
Dunno if this was fixed also, but when I tried Mission 2 on Normal, seemed the time was a bit quick for either destroying a Hive / Building Pylon to repower the three warpgates. And then when I checked the immediate north of my base, I saw about 50 Roaches. Dunno if that was meant to be there, or if you forget to give them the order to attack after spawning / put the point to attack being too high for them to begin attacking your base.
It's possible to link them in a way that, when you finish one map, it'll automatically load up the next one for you. But there's still no way to fuse em into one file, like how custom Campaigns work in Warcraft 3.
Units
I would like to say new units or at least modified units (The Scattered Project modified unit stats to be a bit more realistic lore wise, such as infantry costs and stats going down, mech costs and stats going up.)
Missions
I'd like for there to be interesting types of missions rather than just the normal build your base up, attack the enemy base, type of missions. I'd also like to see less turtling (seeing as how much of it was in the Wings of Liberty Campaign), maybe less extremely effective defensive units (if races are altered, such as Siege Tank damage being reduced by a lot, Bunker HP going down, stuff like that. Or raising their costs instead.)
Well, depends on how well done it is on the "consumed once and never played again". Like, have you played "The Chosen Ones" Campaign for Warcraft 3? The Editor for Warcraft 3 is way less versatile than Starcraft 2's, yet that Campaign is very replayable, with it's "give up" feature, which is actually kinda essential for the Elite and Epic bosses, even for some of the easier difficulties.
I agree with the above, there's tons of people working on re-done Starcraft 1 Campaigns already, more people should concentrate on making fresh, new campaigns
Depends on how graphic the spells you use are, and how complex the boss fights are though. And whether or not you use fps / tps view (those lag quite badly for a good chunk of people from what I've seen)
It probably will be, unless you're aiming for full scale raids or something. But then again, too many players may lag the players with lower quality computers.
Well, here's my idea.
Since everyone seems to be doing remakes of Starcraft (which seem to be quite popular btw), how about remakes of Starcraft: Insurrection and Starcraft: Retribution? They were add ons for Starcraft that each boasted full length campaigns (20 to 30 missions each) and a ton of new multiplayer maps. Both added in brand new heroes as well as some brand new "elite" units so to speak, such as the New Dresdin Outlaws and the Fists of Ulzraj

Defend a key point for a certain amount of time?

That'd be cool if it was single player, might end up being a pain for mutli player though.
