    the hut already acts as their version of a barracks and the biodome is like a primitive artsy version of that, the small house acts as depots, command biodome is their command centre and the garage is their factory, meinhoff landed is their starport. they do kinda have one currently but it's like the 'super' unit which is essentially a mobile flying bunker that can carry lotsa units buuut it's a late game thing o.O

    Not sure if right section for this, so I have a question I've got my campaign n it's got a 'race' the colonists which is essentially just civilian based stuff problem is i'd like them to have their own version of a bunker buuuut i have no idea which structure/doodad/unit to use as a bunker and i'm too unskilled to create one of my own so the question what do i use?

    Hiya Guyz,

    Currently only two maps exist to test the third has nothing on it yet. Also if you have feedback can you like be specific how i can fix as i'm still new ta this map making stuff (I just use the starcraft editor as the galaxy stuff is waaaay to complex fer me).

    Hiya guys,

     

    so i've 'fixed the darkness problem

    buuuuut it made a new one, when there's lots of units together the light is blindingly too bright

    I have no idea how to fix this o.O any help is again appreciated.

    Hiya Peeps,

     

    another quick lesson for peeps how to make ur map into a mod,

     

    okay so first open your map, once it's open save file as, change the file type to the component files version and save with a diff name otherwise it will cause an error, okay once you've saved that make a new mod call it whatever ya want, once it's open save file as, choose the type interface component and save with a diff name as it'll error if it has same name. once you have both in component form open the map files and copy the data files, then go to your mod files and paste the files making sure to replace existing data files, now open editor and open the mod interface you just made and check to see if your data is there. Hopefully you've now made your own custom mod from a map.

    Hiya peeps,

     

    Quick tip for auto train which is a little sloppy but it works in the ability info tab pick the unit you want auto train for and then scroll down to the bottom you'll spot a little box with four options, activate both the auto cast and auto cast initially on ones' and then test hopefully the building should now auto train said unit, however it can only auto cast one ability so only one unit can be auto trained unless you add them all into the one ability. Note in game if you select the building you can see the auto cast so it looks a little sloppy and i have no idea how to change that sorry.

    Hi Guyz,

     

    So current state of the project is at one map being 'finished' (needs an artsy fixup) and i'm working on a second map which is nearly complete just need to hammer out some story elements. So far i've done all the work so it may be a bit sloppy as i'm still learning, i'll probably be able to like hammer out a solid 4 hours a week in work perhaps more till uni comes back.

     

    I'm looking for somewhat experienced peeps to help with the artsy stuff as i can't really do that sorta thing, i'm also looking for someone who can do some general work like focusing on map development of one of the storyline branches. On a side note anyone who signs up has gotta be chill cause this is just something i'm doing fer fun so at some point i'd like to hand over development to someone else when life starts up again.

     

    The campaign is a branching one with the first mission deciding what the following ones are so anyone who signs up will be working on one of the two branches.

     

    So if anyone's interested just send me a heads up I check this account often, once you've signed up i'll give ya mah email details.

    Holla Peeps,

     

    Since I'm currently experiencing difficulties uploading my map I'ma set up the scene for you peeps.

     

    Some point in the year 2502AD a group of independent colonists decide to colonise a planet they dubbed Lucia, they set up a city and a couple of surrounding settlements and they form their own council which was called the 'Lucian High Council', for awhile this semi small colony prospered and became quite well known amongst individuals seeking a new life outside of Mengsk's rule. However in the year 2503AD the colony detects a nearby Dominion fleet which is unusual as they have never approached Lucia before, the 'Lucian High Council' is called upon and they convene eventually leading to more patrols and finally due to the peoples unrest regarding the issue they call upon the famous Jim Raynor to provide protection.

     

    Which is where the map begins.
