I done as you told me with no luck, I however figured it out myself. The ability was an Behavior Ability, so it had two commands: Turn on and Turn off. I only gave Turn on an icon, which is why it disappeared. I know changed the ability to be an Effect - Instant instead and it now works perfectly.
Alright, so I did a check up. The problem is not that a default command card icon is overriding my custome one.
Now about the requirement. Where would I check that. Because the ability I have created is from scratch, and I never applied any kind of requirement, so unless it's a default option, I do not think that is the problem either.
I thank you for your answer. Learned something from it. :)
I am for the first time trying to create an ability from scratch, no copying whatsoever. I am making an Behavior ability that grants you a Behavior buffs granting the players a few different stats. The ability in it self works just as expected, however!, whenever I use the ability in game, it also disappears from the command card. Can't seem to make sense of it.
Hopefully someone has experienced this.
Thank you in advance.
So I want to make some sort of an assassination ability. So I was thinking blink + strike.
I've already made the blink require a target, and I've tried to add a damage effect, but can't get it to work.
I have been trying to get a unit to autocast an ability. Now I got it to work, but somehow it only autocast if the unit is mine. When I change the units owner, it doesn't autocast. I'm sure it's pretty simple, I just can figure it out.
Now I don't know if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it and I though it was wierd, so chose to write myself.
I am making a Hero Fighter game, where you play as a hero fighting against waves, much like a tower defense. Now as these waves progresses, once in a while a boss will spawn. Now I've made abilities to this boss and all, but he just seems to dumb to use them. The abilities is nothing special, actually just remakes of original abilities and we all know AI doesn't have a problem using those in normal games. I though the problem might be the Trigger>Map Initialization>Start the melee AI for all computer players, which I removed, but it wasn't.
Now does anyone know a simple way, because it sounds like something that is very easy to do, that it is just me so didn't tried good enough. It was quite easy in Warcraft 3 to do, but who knows.
I am currently remaking the nukeclear missle. As I want the Ghost Academy to shoot it. I got it all right. But it seems like I can't shoot longer than a range of 500.

Are you speaking of command flags? Where I can apply Set Auto Cast and Set Auto Cast On?

Is there a way to increase this value?
