Greetings all ,In my map "Workers standing" I have just added levelling to the players unit and now would like to implement something iv wanted since the start of the project , to add re-playability and team work to the map I want players to earn building blueprint as they level up.
My idea is to keep it all in the data editor by using upgrades (An area I have not really used in the editor so far)
As you can see I have selected the "Select heavy turret blueprint" once the play clicks this it will go to a page of the command card with heavy turrets on , what I want then is for the player to pick one of the selected turrets build button will then replace the "Select heavy turret blueprint" button.
How do I go about making the upgrade that replaces the button on command card 1 ,and more to the point is this an Ok way of achieving what I want?
any help would be great ,if anything here is unclear please ask.
Hi guys so iv made a new AA turret that uses the model of the missile launcher with T housing upgrade and as the title reads iv given it the battle cruisers Anti-Air weapon. Everything else is working fine except that the projectiles come from the ground I would like them to come from the barrels of the turret but alternate firing from the left and the right like the animation shows ,sorry if I have not explained this very well.

As TwoDie said you play as an SCV and can build power plants,auto turrets, walls and other defences and structures.
currently you win the map once 2000 enemies have been killed

greetings ,Iv been working on a map for a while called Daniel's workers standing and first just to say ill be removing my name from the front of it when its finished...
Secondly I would greatly benefit from some feed back and advise! Its currently got 300 odd reviews on about 4.2 stars but no one is updating their reviews so I'm a little low on feed back at the moment and would like to add more to the map.
I'm already planning some large features but I'm having to learn more about the editor first as they involve things I currently don't know how to do.
So if anyone would check it out and leave a review or get back to me via this post that would be great!
In my map units are spawned in using triggers then told to attack move to the nearest armoured unit that isn't on the same team.
But if you wall up an area on or around cliffs and build closer to the spawn location than your wall the units get confused and stick to the cliff sides
Iv even tried the forcefield footprint trick but no joy any ideas?

On easy player 15 will have no buffs but on normal player 15's units need the buff "normalmodebuff" my current trigger goes like this:
Add 1 Normalmodebuff to (unit attached to (Entire map)) from player 15
(This happens whenever a player 15 unit is created)
When testing player 15's units have no buff, What am I doing wrong? :s

In my map you play as one SCV that can build : wall, Auto turrets ,flamers so on and so forth but if you totally wall yourself in with cliffs near by my hostiles path at cliff edges and generally walk around getting shot but not attacking on maps iv seen units path correctly to a single block of wall surrounded my natural buildings no problem even tho it wasn't the nearest target my hostiles work by attack moving to the nearest armored unit but this inst working as id like it too (as explained above) any help would be great and if the idea of my map sounds fun look for "Daniel's Workers Standing" ;]

Where are these found so I can change the tool tip the little icon and the sound that plays when someone is supply blocked?
