I'm currently working on a Tug of War Map and i want to do the following:
Each Player in a Team can train units, in buildings, which belong to an allied computer player. Every time a unit is trained by a player, it will be added to the unit pool tat spawns with each wave and increase the income of the player who trained the unit.
The problem i am encountering now, is the following: How do i find out, who trained the unit, when the building the unit is trained, belongs to a different player with shared control? I tried the "Any unit training progress" event, but it didnt work since i cannot find out who issued the train command.
- Mystic Melee AOE Spells Nova and Quake need better visuals. They are hard to see, when being in combat
- Spectres last skill is quite useless in normal fight, since it has such a long casting time. Might be usefull in Boss fights though.
- Marine Melee Skill is sort of irritating, i understood it being an active melee attack. However, i dont think such a skill makes much sense on the marine since he has stim to avoid most melee situations.
- Aura visuals are disturbing (HT, Medic) specially the HTs is to much :)
- Confuse skill, actually confuses me as a player, since i alwas try to target those units. Some neat visuals to visualize a unit being confused would be helpfull
Game Modes
- A Diablo 2ish Hardcore Mode would be cool, especially in combination with carnage mode
- i would prefer a realy time XP system, making you level throughout the matches, not only after the arena finishes
- a little bit more unit varity on enemy side would be cool
- class switch between games would be great
Misc
- Add an option to disable the following camera
I wonder if it is possible to edit mods with your editor? Or can i only edit maps with it
I think it would be quite sufficient if it just would be able to compile into a folder and run another specified map tthen. So i could just make my mod as sc2compnent and run the map which i just to test the mod.
It might even be enough just to let the Folder ending sc2mod be allowed in the folder selection^^

Think i found 2 bugs.
After updating, i cant edit the project setting for a existing project, only works for new ones.
It seems like i cant close the Options dialog by clicking on the X in the top right corner.
