I have to use campaign dependencies for the voices and doodads and ext.
When using these dependencies, the units are changed. Like Nexus don't have energy. Although that's not hard to change, who knows how many differences there are from these dependencies and the MELEE UNITS we regularly uses in Ladder MatchUps.
Is there anyway I can override these units with the MELEE UNITS ??
I need help recreating the Phoenix Overload Ability.
This was an ability that was cut from the game.
However all the phoenix overload .m3 ability can be found in asset by searching "overload" or "phoenix"
I don't really have much experience in working with this type of ability.
Any help?
The turret or weapon only attack what's in front of it, in a straight line of sight
I tried nearly everything I can find to have the same result with my Photon Cannon
I put the facing to 270 which is facing ->
I adjusted the Yaw Arch, and everything else that had to do with turning to see if it would affect it.
The lowest degree for Yaw Arch (How many degrees can the Cannon Turn to attack hostiles) is around 0.5
which over a range of 18 for weapons spreads out like a triangle.
How do I adjust photon cannon to where it act like the siege tanks in the video. ONly attacking LOS what's in front of it. Not what's in the other lanes
thankyou very helpful. but the problem is I've made a new unit, like I want to keep the Archon and Have dark archon at the same time. I've created a ability exactly like merge archon and gave the ability to Dark templars. I know changing the "merge archon" model original will change the archon one. I've made a model file for "merge dark archon" I don't know how to attach it to my Dark archon though.
I guess what i'm asking is, where is the "merge archon" attached to the regular Archons
I tried that, when I press Shift + D a window pop up. but it's blank. and I can't select anything in the window
But back to the Dark Archon, How do I change the merge model in actor? the dark archon download came with a merge model but I don't know how to switch it in with my Archon. When I merge Dark archon, the old Archon (blue) Merge still appears. Can't find the place where I switch the Archon Merge Models
Thanks that was a lot simpler than I was making it to be. Any chance you can gives steps like these to changing texture since the previewer is different than in Dr.evil tutorial?

I've look at dr evil tutorial about texture and yeah it's not helping.
I need like a step by step because the interface for SC2 edit changed a bit and looks nothing like the pic.
I got the model in, but don't know how to apply the texture onto it
With games that allow saving of levels for RPG and such. How do they go on about doing this through trigger? data table? I'm clueless. I want to save stuff such as achievement so they don't have to unlock it again
Pretty much what I want to do is having an upgrade. And the requirement to research the upgrade is to kill 20 roaches. at the moment , I have "use" "And" "Greater than or equal to" "Constant 20" " Unit Killed Roaches"....
but that combined all killed roaches. like lets say player 1 kill a roach, player 2 will also get that kill. How do I set it to where it's individual. Like player one will have to kill 20 and player 2 will have to kill 20 as well

How do I set players visibility to where they can't see cliff, and doodads that are on the map. unless they actually walk to it

It seem like it doesn't matter where I put the trigger change font size, all collumb all row to 7 or 6 or 8. it doesn't work....something im missing?

I have no experience with leaderboard trigger. What I"m looking for is a leader board that display kills in specific units.
Like " Player 1 Kills Unit Type 5 Roach 52 Zerglings.
and if somehow make it to where it's private, like other allies can't see it except for yourself?
