I have a hero upgrading to another using a copy of the morph baneling ability with the time set to zero. However, the new hero has 0 xp, so I need to create a trigger to give it the xp that it had before. How would I do that?
I'm making a melee map that allows the use of heroes in addition to the regular units, and i had to remove the "set standard melee options" trigger to allow the heroes to gain xp.
That also removed the default victory conditions, and I want to make it so that you lose when all your buildings are destroyed AND you don't have any of the heroes.
I really could use some help!
How would I allow heroes to gain experience in a regular melee map, which I assume I would need to use triggers for, since, by disabling the melee initialization trigger, they do get experience

both units have the behavior, and it's actually the same veterancy behavior. How do I apply the permanent flag?

I created a copy of the baneling morph command and change the time to 0

yes, but when i have melee initialization enabled the heroes i have don't gain xp, even though i think its set up right cause they do with it disabled

i read somewhere that since one of the patches (1.3 maybe?) heroes don't gain xp unless you have melee initialization disabled
