I'm trying to make a melee map that, in addition to the normal units, also has heroes that level up with attributes. If i have melee initialization enabled, my heroes don't gain xp, and while having it disabled allows them to gain xp, start locations no longer work. I think I need to make it so that melee initialization doesn't disable xp, but I have no idea how to do that. Do you know how to get this to work.
so i tested the map and everything is there, even though it doesn't show up in the editor...
published it though, just search SC Expanded Big Game Hunters.
i added left 2 die and the protoss, terran, and zerg assets as battle net dependencies as well as local files, but when i did the mod file creation for sc expanded, it said it couldn't find the assets, so it doesn't have a local file; should i have made one anyways?
also, the supply depot has lost all of its tech choices, possibly for this reason. (the submenu buttons aren't even there)
where do you get the map preview picture for the arcade?
so now that i finally have time update big game hunters, i decided to look through previous posts you made helping other people.
You said to save the dependency and add it to your local files, as well as loading the battlenet dependencies. How exactly do you save the dependency?
lol i was the one who suggested the upgrade. and yeah, i agree that it really sucks.
i like the increased armor suggestion, but i don't think you should add it where they just have increased speed; it's extremely similar to charge
the point of the firebat armor changes is to make them more tanky, while you use other units such as marines are siege tanks to deal the actual damage.
maybe you could have incinerator gauntlets also increase their range? that way they'd be better vs things other than lings and zealots
also, where can i find downloads for those files i need to update? i know where to get left 2 die, but what about the terran, zerg, and protoss assets?
for protoss, i think you should make it colossus or reaver, not reaver or immortal, since colossus and reaver have very similar roles, while the immortal's role is very different.
also, for firebats, i think you should replace the current upgrade with juggernaut plating, to make them more of a tank , though maybe nerf their base armor to 1 and have the upgrade give only 1 armor, since i don't think they should have more armor than an ultralisk.
I'm having issues when i try to update to the latest version. when I add SC Expanded 1.46 to the dependencies, it says it wants the terran, zerg, and protoss assets dependencies, as well as the left 2 die dependencies. it still says it can't find them even once they're added, and there isn't any SC expanded content in the data at all.

I fixed the dependencies so they're the way they were in the picture, but the supply depot still doesn't have any of the tech options.
