Right now I'm trying to get it so that every say, 15 seconds (Done), a Zerg unit will unburrow at a designated point (Can get them to spawn, not unburrow), proceed to attack move to another point (Done), and then once there, stop the spawning and attack each other (Not done). As well as that, I can't get protos units to display their warp in animation (Messed around with playing animations at points etc.) And finally, I want it set up so that the zerg move slowly when not in combat, however, as soon as they get into action, their speed doubles (Tried and failed miserably on this one...) Don't feel btw that you have to help me out with this, this is more just a map I'm playing around with to see what I can do / learn, not that I don't appreciate the help ofc!

    Heya guys,

I have had a look for the solution to this on these forums but can't seem to find it. Anyway, I've been trying to edit the basic marine so that when he fires, it looks like he is firing the battlecruisers laser battery system. I've tried editting the actor and the effect for the weapon but it doesn't seem to work? Am I missing something obvious here? (And yes, I do suck at the data editor, I'm just a terrainer). Secondly, I want to make those projectiles fire not just at the target but also around it (so that it looks like the marine is spraying & praying), but without being able to see the projectiles, it's fruitless. If anyone can help me with this, would be greatly appreciated. And sorry if this has been asked / solved before, I just can't seem to find it. Cheers,

    Mad

Nice work SirDeeDs, and welcome to the WTE's. Loving the contrast between the graveyard on the outside and the life and sunshine on the island. Only thing I will say buddy, is that when taking the screenshots, set your settings to High or better. Will make them stand out and be a lot more pretty in the future. All in all though, I salute you.

Nebuli, looks a bit unnatural if you get what I'm saying? Liking the concept of it, maybe just sink more hours into it I dunno. Nice idea buddy.

Xtreme, welcome! Good first shot buddy, I'd say get rid of the road entirely though. Seems out of place. Maybe replace with a dirt track or as F0xtail hints at, lowered temple bricks and the like to make a stone pathway? Aside from that, love the area around the statue, works well. and the angle of the shot is nice.

Yuka, love the water pipe bit, and the water storage photo is fairly well placed. Dunno if you want to add more doodads etc. in the town make it look more 'homelike' but yeah, very good improvement sir.

Creative use of pipes there Sheo, for the plantation side. Loving the waterfall as well. Fairly original, I like it :)

Yuka, the ghost and the mine one I like a lot - the simplicity works really well there. The town one, should have scaled the buildings to the marines, and possibly put them in action poses? Aside from that though, noice effort.

I'm lacking inspiration nowadays to do anything of my own... Might just take a break from creating stuff. Let my creative juices regenerate.

Had to make a cormpromise Neb, as if I did that the rocks wouldn't work for the waterfall unfortunately.

Alrighty guys, here's one I was gonna contribute for the emotions WTE, but decided to leave it. Modified it a little bit for this one :) And just in case anyone fancies taking some better screenshots, feel free - the map itself looks a lot more epic in the editor then my print screen will allow.
