Hey everyone its me again! LOL! So i am here to show you all my newest creation. Doodad Hunt is a team based hide and seek game. One team will be selected to be the seekers, while the other will be selected to choose a doodad to hide/blend in as. The game is currently in closed beta but if you are interested in joining in on the fun you can contact me @Bounty #820. The map will feature best of 3 rounds in the official release. Oh and yes, the music DOES play in the actual game lol.

OMG I had this idea for a map, was going to start it after my current project

I'm need a trigger that "pushes" a unit away from another.
when unit is attacked
unit type of attacking unit == unit1
unit - move triggering unit instantly to triggering unit offset by 10 towards (attacking unit facing) degrees blend
but it keeps throwing the unit in the wrong direction
Blizzard thinks restricting us seems to be the right thing to do now. I don't really know where there coming from with it either. The more restricted we are the less creative we can be. Of course restriction does promote creativity in some cases.

Well my friends and I were, as we usually do about random stuff, I was watching randomly Star Wars and shouted in vent OMG we should totally make a star wars map!
to which the response was WTF how would you do that, and what would it involve... and so we started making one

Played with a few friends (private pubish) kept coming up with param / value for everything (on EU so might be localization? )
and you could only lay down one tower at a time?

Solved :
for anyone else who is interested or looking for something similar
because the attacking unit is a structure, I had to modify the Facing before setting the variable

yea i did think of that but its not 180 out its more like 45 but its only pushes the unit up or down rather than away from the attacker

Yeah me and some friends were playing CUBE TD
We decided to go DUO with 4 of us. (2 teams)
And my partner and I decided to just maze, everywhere
so were going good, and I decide to maze around the map
the result was, that the towers started disappearing, not just the new ones but ALL The towers, and the units
also you couldn't click any units / towers.
possible screen shots / saved replay to follow ( with a bit of luck)
and this children is why i'm not allowed nice things :D

ok, so I disabled the dependencies and re-added them, it came up but the model is missing
When I close the editor, re-open it add the dependencies it works
Ok I clicked a few problems and seemed to fix it
for future ref : Remove all Dependencies , clear bnet and local files , close the editor , re-open and re-add the dependencies and it should be ok ^_^

I had a doodad on my map I Found called Protos summon , its a giant circle
I opened up my map just now and its gone, I re-searched it and its no there at all
does anyone else have this doodad?
anyone had this problem with anything else?
any solutions?
