I sure hope so. We should make sure blizzard knows about the bug at least. I found this link http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/data/9236-solved-data-zeratul-blink-smoke-direction/ and it seems to have changed the effect a little bit, but it's still not like it used to be. If we can find someone with an older version of the editor, maybe we can copy the actors from them and get it working again in a hard coded kind of way.
Hello mapsters, I'm struggling with having an ability reduce the maximum energy of the caster. Basically I want it to be applied with guardian shield. So I created an apply behavior effect called apply shield debuff and created a buff behavior for the shield debuff and I can't seem to make it work. I tried setting behavior->unit->max vital bonus to -3, I also tried setting pretty much everything else that seems like it should do it, but I can't actually get any change in energy (or any other vital) to occur. I've set them positive, negative, I set it in the combat tab, I set it in the behavior->combat tab, and I've tried a lot of things. I'm sure the behavior is being applied because the icon for it shows up on the unit's status. I'm not sure what to do, but the behavior editor seems really confusing.
Hi, I'm developing an exciting new game type that's kind of a combination of a lot of different game types. For my game I would to be able to attack forcefields. I've gone into the forcefield unit and changed the flags so that it should be a commandable/attackable/selectable unit, but I can't seem to select it or do anything with it in game. I feel like I'm probably missing some important actor stuff, but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks for helping!
is it really creating a path of smoke from the original blink location to the end location?
I have some friends who don't mod at all and their zeratul's blink animation just plays at the end location with 270 direction, as of patch 1.2
Oh no. I've been trying to implement zeratul's blink on other units and it wasn't working. I went into campaign and it was still broken. I thought that I had screwed up the actual mod files some how using the editor (which is very distressing). I tried repairing and it was still broken, so I uninstalled SC2. It's currently downloading. I guess I should have come here first. Hah. Is there a fix for this?

Oh bizarre. That does seem to work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong in my custom behavior. Well, thanks.
