create an array of point type
initialize its values with your points location
create a timer event
then use randomize integer function
use the random integer as array index for the point array to where you want your units to spawn.
voila! apple pie!
@mavrck, lower the weapon damage to compensate for this limit. you have to re-balance the game though :8)
Use the no pathing tool, it looks like a big arrow in the main toolbar, when u brush it on your map it is colored yellow by default.
I suggest you search the forums for other TPS engine with step-by-step guide.
be minimalistic when designing your map, i.e. don't overdo with doodads, select the most simple tileset, etc.
my guess is that you have a on-board sound system.
Thanks but I want the camera to be behind the shoulder of the player's unit all the time so that you see enemies far ahead in front of you. In other words players shouldn't see the front view of their unit.
Is this even possible without locking the mouse?
Is it possible for the camera to follow each of the players' unit for a multiplayer map?
If yes, please teach me how. Already searched btw.
create a camera. place it on the position you want rotate it to the direction you want it to point save current view to camera
Will this lag for a multi-player map?
make friends and invite them over to your map, word of mouth will spread if your game is good.
Look in multiplayer->join game, it might be in the last page if you published it as public otherwise go to create new game
You can issue units to attack all enemy units near a point - they will attack all enemy units along the way too.
Check my map if you need the exact code.
Cheers :8)
