I'm also curios to know what the original ending was intended to be. The ending cutscene was pretty similar to the leaked one earlier, and in the original, Mengsk had a copy of Kerrigan in a tank and injected something into her neck to kill her O.o
Discussed this in an earlier thread, my hypothesis was that it was a flashback to when Sarah was found at Fujita by Mengsk and brought back to the Hyperion's sickward, all Confederate Ghosts had some sort of kill switch along with their cybernetic implants, Mengsk said he removed Sarah's but he isn't exactly known for honesty and not planning for the future. Seeing as Blizzard changed it however, I'm not even sure they thought of it this way.
For plot holes and the like I personally really dislike Zerg warp drives and artificial gravity. Also that some Zerg other than infested Terrans or engineered by infested Terrans was lip synced to English could be considered strange, but I guess there is no other way of doing it.
After I had looked at that ruined building in the first picture for a few second my terrainer mind put 2 and 2 together and i realized the possibilities for overgrown city terrains now in HotS. Terrain was great, made me think of Crysis 3 a little and even though I'm currently trying to blaze through the campaign I might have to try and make an overgrown city.
"Everyone is powerless against/unaware of The Void" to "the Protoss will rally and push back The Void once and for all", and I think Kerrigan is an important part of it.
I believe something like the Xel'naga artifact from WoL will be the answer for The Void.
In that case, everything is actually modular. This is something I went over with Maity; I wouldn't have minded using different models and such for tall grass (think LOS blockers), but he wanted to retain the look of the original Pokémon games.
Looks good. Personally I don't see the reason to have the grass modular, I would either have it all modular or not at all, but i guess it's personal taste. How many types of zones to you plan? (Forest, city etc.) I'm thinking about textures, one way to get more textures to work with is to use alot of terran tarmac, installation roof and flattened space platform towers to spice up cityscapes and other manmade areas, then you might only need one or even no textures at all for those areas.
Apperantly Sarah was implanted with a neural inhibitor by the Confederacy but later when she was found unconscious at the Fujita Facility by Mengsk and brought to the Hyperion sickward it was, according to Uprising, removed and a number of cybernetic implants were left...
4- This kill switch apparently works through a clone in a tube???
Wasn't that a flashback that indicated that the kill switch were implanted into Kerrigan while she was 'activated' as a ghost, that it was Kerrigan in the tube, that was my assumption anyways.
Search for 'dock' in the doodads tab and something along the lines of 'wall docking bay' should be one of the suggestions, it's the same doodad but with only one variation and no animation.
Campaign-wise shouldn't you count how many hours it is and its pacing instead of how many races you play? It seems pretty irrelevant. I'm still doubtful about the pricing though, don't get me wrong.
Yes, everything is WoL doodads: tops of space platform towers for tables, scaled new folsom misc for glasses and plates and city props for the chairs.
What about a Radagast-esque character? Living in solitude and doesn't use much technology, instead excelling at herbalism for treating his starmon and he could be a starmon pacifist communicating well with starmon. The trainer could be given a quest to fetch herbs or plants for instance, you meet a plant-starmon and fight it but before you beat it the hermit will arrive and get it to calm down. Reward would be herbs that buff or heal your starmon.

And the rain on Char was obviously not water.

Having all on extreme, I still can't apply HDR, unsure if i can see it from earlier maps.

If HotS editor is unavailable while the beta servers are, Mozared hit the perfect timing.

Maybe something along the lines of this for the counters in the star centers?
