The model may not be linked correctly, I'd start there. If it shows in the CE than it will show up in game too, sounds like something isn't linked properly.
I got it fixed...don't know what was up with it but it works now :)
terribly sorry if this is the wrong section to post this
So i was looking around and i found a model of a bus in the editor but when i try to use it it gives me an error saying it can't create the model, i viewed it in the cutscene editor and everything looks O.k. i don't get it.
Any ideas on what else i should do on this map, i really need something to spark some creativity in me. i don't know what it is its just nothing is coming to me on what i should do next
oh yeah...the blimps I don't know what those are doing there was not paying attention to them haha i think i put those there for search units for any survivors i don't remember.
A destroyed city filled with toxic fog..along with a colony (those metal buildings and the ship) that are seeking to leave the planet behind, there's a crater with an alien artifact that represents a message sent by a super intelligent race telling humans that there are worlds with habitability for humans so we were inspired to go to them.
and for those wondering how it came to an end (turns out the world just kept on turning)...i have no idea, can't really think of anything creative so we'll just go with basics such as: Nuclear warfare, over pollution, or comet hit.

Thought i would upload pictures of this map I've been working on its a really old map that i found within my hundreds of other maps and i decided to re adjust things and recreate parts of the map. there is still a lot of work to do in certain areas such as the outside desert area, open gaps in the city, might add fog, and other little things to touch up the map. for now i just want to show what i have done right now and hopefully i will come back and update the pictures later.
Is there a tutorial or could someone help me...i want to replace the Mar Sara Tileset with this. i kinda don't know how never really imported custom stuff.
Thanks for the tips guys! i think i might know how to add a planet without Photoshop... there's M3 planet files somewhere i'll have to search for
although i forgot to save the map and put my computer in sleep mode and turned in back on and the editor crashed x.x grrr
oh and BTW heres a planet view...theres also planet icons which i can use for the planets in the sky
i basically hid all the terrain cells and edited a doodads model changed and size and BAM there ya go
The Man and his hound stood aside each other as the watched a rescue ship fly their way only in hope that it will find them and take them from the lost colony to a space station colony orbiting the Decimated planet...and the planet, well that's a whole different story.

So i was wondering and i just got this idea...the doodads "char crashing Barracks" "char crashing debris" etc i wanted these to have the animations repeat in the editor and the game so when they fall its not only once and the animation is done....is there a way i can do this? maybe through the data editor or trigger editor?
I think this might be a cool Idea, I recently did this in a terrain i posted...
i was thinking maybe something like a drastic change in ecosystem/climate basically having 2 climates and then seperating them and making it look like a drastic transition from one climate to the other
an example would be a desert Meinhoff setting and then on the other side a more forest covered lush area but making the transition between the 2 drastic
This is a map that I've been working on its mainly focused on the Drastic change in climate/ecosystem You normally see in MMOs when you walk into a new zone, but anyways enjoY!
