II figured the more people, the better. This is an Sc2 mapping forum, so I thought that some people would be interested.
You don't HAVE to be interested. But if your already making a strategy map, or had an idea, now is the chance to send it in!
I like Strategy maps, capture bases, upgrade them, etc.
If you've ever played Wc3, the games WW1 - Ish and Azeroth Wars: Legacy Reborn are some of the best examples there are.
I find that there the most replay able, in addition to that, there Roleplayable =)
But, sadly, points are given for originality, pre-released insn't exactly an original concept. =)
Although, don't quote me on it, wait till Grunty gets here.
Also, everything submitted must be submitted through diplomunion.com, to prevent confusion. Alternately, you can send it to Grunty1's or Baledwyr's E-Mails.
And, it is the lovely Christina. If you've ever watched the TV series, Firefly, she was excellent in it. If you havn't, then I recommend watching!
Thats fair enough. But 50$, is better then 0$. If you are making a strategy map, and think you could be done by the due date, I think it would be in your best interest to send it. Were not Blizzard, were a tiny forum encouraging a specific type of map. As such, our funding is limited to say the least.
The timing isn't bad, its right after Blizzard finished their contests, this gives people that maybe didn't finish on time (Or didn't get a chance to start) a chance at a smaller prize.
Thats my take on it anyways, just wanted to put a spin on your overly negative post. <3

As an example, if you look to the middle, thats my clan, originally on Wc3 called GoTE (Guardians of the Empire), it is now called Gotennia in LoC, which is basically a huge Roleplay'ed universe. And like any Roleplayers, we love to play our maps. If you think you would be up to the challenge of trying to create one, then you would basically earn our respect in eternity. There is a TON of Lore to go through, although Grunty and Baledwyr would be sure to help you, that being said, the task would still be hard.

Don't quote me on it, but I believe the map maker will remain 'ownership' of the map, the only thing your doing is creating the map, and sending it to them to play, they will then rate it, and prizes will be given out in that manner.

Movie Tickets? We have people registered from Spain, Norway, Canada and the U.S. I think it would be hard to find universal movie tickets, hah =)

I would say that its better then the 0$ many talented map makers typically get by creating a fun map. :)
