Since they seem to have a strict banning policy if they dont like the content of a map, I did not want to risk it.
But if that's the case it should be ok then.
I like your minigames so far (although i dont get the one with probes )
Whenever i think about minigames in SC2 that one from Mario Party comes to my mind:
Guess that would be fun. Maybe i would do that in another way then lowering platforms.
Its quite similar to your nuke one though.
Idea 2:
You have a hellion. Now you try to kill your opponents by ramming them with the front of the car.
(It should kill anything that enters a range of a point in front of the hellion. So you have to hit the others from behind or the side or you will explode too.)
Hope the explanation is understandable :S.
There's a action to make units uncommandable, which i guess is used here.
I dont think they are controlled by AI since they don't use those spells very effective. For example the sentry is just casting his shield when entering a fight which is easy to make with a trigger.
If you are using simple waves like in Nexus Wars, this should be enough.
Really like your vid.
It reminds me of the ending of The Mist (....there is mist + the same music, guess that's why)
I like the running and fighting where you only see the shadows. That makes you feel like watching a great movie.
Great use of different camera-positions.

To see campaign units you have to change the dependencies when creating a map to Campaign(Liberty). Or you add it: >File > Dependencies > Add Standard.
I think the queen (the infusion) or the phoenix (that gravity thing) should have abilities you search for. Both are creating an effect on the target.
Took some time to realize that i can put different shapes IN thesame region, first thought i have to create new negative regions.
The disadvantage is that it takes some time to place that much shapes.
Hi, didnt find a answer here so I decided to ask myself.
I tried to create a map where you walk on a path and if you leave it your unit dies. (Like for example in Polar Escape in Wc3)
The Problem is the following:
In Wc3 you could get the Terrain a unit is standing on. So it was easy to kill a unit with a trigger if it leaves that certain terrain.
Unfortunately that's not possible in SC2.
I tried to use Regions, which is bad because you can only use circles and rectangles and you have to put a lot of them.
My other idea was to use the pathing editor. So if a unit leaves a "no building" zone it dies.
The problem ist that i couldn't find a function to make that work.
If anybody has a idea how that could be done then please tell me.
(Guess my english is not the best, hope it is understandable.)

Watch some posts above. You can assume that it's allowed since they featured a map containing a WoW model on facebook.
But I would not import models from non-Blizzard games, they would probably ban it because of copyright.

Well, thanks for the information.

Hi, I would like to have those swamp creeps from Zangarmarsh. Think they look great :)
I don't know what they are called but i mean those:
And those are quite nice:
(Basic animations like walk, stand, attack should be enough) They would totally fit in a swamp like map.
Is it possible to get tree-models? And did Blizzard mention if you are allowed to upload maps containing WoW models?
Nice work you do there, I really like it.

Wanted to make those but I'm too lazy.
