I tend to think pretty abstract, but I believe that, if developed right, inverting the gameplay of a traditional genre could end up being a success. For example, inverting the TD genre, would result in the player sending waves of creeps, while an AI builds structures, preventing you of getting by.
I'd suggest that you create a new unit and actor, and then copy/paste the fields you need onto your new unit and actor. And then link them together at last.
It looks really cool, I sadly can't play it though.
Just a quick note: I think that people will show more interest if you make a short description of the gameplay, and you will most likely get more dedicated people aswell.
I believe filters/categories would be a solution. Compare the Tower Defence popularity list with the Custom Game list. Chances that your map will be found in the Tower Defence list, is a hundred times bigger than in the Custom Games list. If they added more filters/categories, players would be able to browse lets say RPG maps, while mappers would have better chances to get their map seen.
This would not be the final solution, but could be used in addition to zenx1's suggestion about having active lobbies shown aswell.
I learned most of the stuff by trying to figure it out by myself. I am so horribly bad at following tutorials, and can't remember half of it next day.
My suggestion would be to attempt to create something simple, and then add new stuff to the map as you figure out how to. You should not expect to end up with something fun and playable, but you its a great way to learn how to use the editor's features.
You can import models from WoW, but you cannot remake fantasy setting. Check the tutorial forum, there's a few tutorials about WoW imports there. To answer your other question aswell, no it is not possible to increase the map size.

The saturation was a bit overused at times, but an overall nice video.

You're lucky. I haven't managed to get one yet.

I have never been a fan of duplicating.

This is (hopefully) the future popularity system. Looks very good.

It's just a wild shot, but have you tried to leave the textstyle field blank?

Don't we have any 30+ in here? Or do they pretend to be younger?
Or is it simply the age where you either stop modding, or start programming?

You should remove the white claws from the werewolf, and move him down just a bit. Right now, he is hovering above the ground.
You should also remove half of the text. I doubt players can read it before they finish loading.
The title is not very interesting, but not bad either. I'd make it a bit more appealing, while not getting too much.

That's a hell of a good site!
I actually discovered a few local companies I didn't know about :)
