well i found there use magazine effects. but i dont understand them quite well. is there anyone who is familiar with the magazine effects and could help me?
first: what is a unit specialication? if i want a specific upgrade for a unit (lets say i want to buy grenades only for this special unit), is this a specialication? i would just do it with a normal upgrade and 2 requirements (upgrade on unit requirement).
second: how can i buy a special upgrade for ammunition units? lets say i want 1 carrier to give his interceptors more health... or cloak. but ONLY this carrier and his interceptors. is this possible
and: can i refer somehow on this interceptors with triggers? i know there is a trigger formula where you can check the number of magazine units. but anything else?
i saw it once on sc2mapster that someone used different abilities for different directions. but i dont know if it will cause the same lag... this overgrows my knowledge of the editor pretty much :
another thing: the mouse tracking system... does it cause lags too?
edit: ok i read the whole counterstrike diskussion thread. i think WASD movement is and stays a dream :(
Hi, it´s been a while, so i´m wondering if there is a lagless WASD solution or if there are any working shooter.
Especially: is there a WASD shooter where you see the unit from above , like the olf GTAs? this would rock the battle.net :)
actually it suddenly works. i dont know why, no idea. now the ammunition is not destroyed, but flys around the transporter ^^
i think because i connected it with the mass recall behavior for the effect before , which disables ammunition. later i created my own behavior and only connected it with the actors. tried all he other solutions and then the transport thing again and voila it worked. ups :-D
i want an autmated teleporter. so you make a move order on the teleporter and the unit is teleported (data/trigger), but not when the unit is just in a certain area. to use the cargo ability whas perfect for that, except the problem that the ammunition units are destroyed (but why???). does anyone know a solution, this would be ery great...

hey, hey. i have a half solution. the unit which wants to teleport is loaded into a transport. via trigger the unit is made hidden, the cargo is unloaded, and the hidden unit is moved to a region and made unhidden. works pretty good. but no i have another problem. i use fighter squads with external ammunition. when these units are loaded into the transport. the ammunition units are destroyed... :(
hi, i have a annoying problem. my unit has external ammo units around it, like the broodlord. when i load this unit into a transport unit like a medivac, all ammo units are automatically destroyed. is there any way to deactivate this?

damnit, its a shame that it isnt possible. when do the lags start on battle.net. with 1 player? with 2 or 3 ? or with more than 3?
