Well, actually, you can't. Copyright isn't about credit, it's all about the money. Internet money, in this case.
As far as I know, you may use under 30 seconds of any copyrighted audio without paying fees - 3 second when talking about video. I think Blizzard is quite uptight about copyright infringement - YouTube style.
Oh, and Final Countdown sounds cool! Now try it with :P
I want to create a normal weapon which, as a a added effect, pushes back its target. I understand I need to use forces for this, but have no idea how to attach them to a weapon - I have seen and followed this tutorial about forces but have no idea how to attach the effect to a weapon.
I don't know if it is necessary to know this to answer my question, but I would love it if the push back has splash damage - ie: doesnt just target the unit the weapon user targets but also units nearby.
I agree with Outsider. The unit models are not interesting. What we need, really, really need, is unique portraits. Like dgh64 said: just resize the model and give it a different player color. The almost complete lack of interesting portraits in SC2 is for me reason number 2 not to make a campaign. Especially Terran is horrible: Raynor, Nova... that's it! The rest is either a helmet or a ugly civilian. Portraits (and, if done correctly, voices) make a hero. Not the model. I would love to see some proper, unique faces, not just identical copies or even worse, helmets.
Really, getting unique Tank and BC models for Duke IMHO simply doesn't make any sense. It's the portrait what you need, models are just nifty graphics which add zero depth.
Really, this map could be fun. But I'm not going to play it
When will mappers stop using horrible manga metal rock music for their videos? Its such a huge reason not to watch a movie. Might wanna try to target someone else than 14yo's.
How about unique transportation of units? The Thor being the best example in game. Possible executions would include a Overlord which wraps additional tentacles around a Ultralisk and then picks it up, or the snow speeder from the assets which can pick up a Tank. More of a challenge would be for example a Battlecruiser which can pick up four Hellions, two Tanks or one Thor. A turretless Tank, enlarged on the x and y axis, capable of transporting Marines etc which will then show where the turret used to be, keeping their attack abilities. Things like that would be supercool, but maybe a bit to limited to be fun for everyone.
Good trailer, might wanna add some subtitles though. The Protoss is hard to understand, especially if English is a second or third language.
And you might wanna consider not using voices at all. I can barely hear them trough the music, and, to be honest, IMHO they pull your movie down and make it less exciting.

AFAIK, the problem with FPS engines is not the computer, but battle net latency.

Is there any (clean) way to check if a variabele exists?
Thanks in advance!

Open model file with notepad, search for the original texture file, replace it with your new one (the name, that is), save and import.
So for example search for Textures\Terran\Marine\Marine.dds
And replace it with the name of your file, for example ROFLOLMYFIRSTSKINZ.dds
