Choosing a custom race in the lobby hasn't been implemented yet (Or just doesn't work properly) But actually creating it is straightforward. Though Kueken, if you've found a way to implement custom races in the lobby please share, I know several people, including myself have been trying to get them selectable since the game launched. It still only displays the basic races. How much did you change?
I'm having some problems with my editor, namely some textures show up as just hot pink. I'm pretty sure it's not a dependency issue, as the textures show up correctly in reflections.
Any ideas why this would be happening, and how to fix it?
Dunno if your still looking for help with this, but you'll need to go into terrain, and then Terrain object (Last option) and remove it through that. If that doesn't work it's one of the many glitches which for some reason makes a few dozen or so of these things. I'm not sure of a way around this.
I'm trying to make a weapon impact effect, and while I can use multiple effects in the previewer to get the effect I'm looking for, I'm not 100 percent sure on how to set it up so that the end effect actually works the way it's set up in the previewer.
Bassically I have 3 effects which in the previewer are set to start at slightly different times, resulting in a nice orbital laser explosin type chain. I need to know how to actually set this up for a weapon to use in game.
Is there a limit on how many behaviours can be applied to a unit? I was sure I read there was, but it was a huge number. Only I can't remember where I read it. Just wanting some clarification.
HAd a few issues recntly with continuing the mod, namely, was in hospital. But I'm all good now, and I'm gonna pick up where I left off. A couple of vids are to be uploaded, which I should have done before the end of Sunday. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some stuff done quite quickly and make up for the loss of time. Anyways, keep an eye out for further updates.
Holy crap, I didn't think anyone paid attention to this thread. No didn't really get a solution, so I went with a semi random damage to simulate not all shots always hitting the target. I may have a look into your suggestions though, seems feasible, and if it would make it a better shotgun then I'll be a happy little pig. Just got a few other things that have priority first, though I'll try to remember and keep this post updated when I try it, let you know how it went.

Played the first one, think I actually still have it for PS2. Good game, if a little tedious at times. Took quite a while to get any really good abilities an' stuff though, at least in that one, I don't imagine much of a difference now tbh. Still awesome game regardless.

Well I say Drone, as the drone mutates into the hatchery. And as such, must have the DNA of all the other Zerg spcies.
