    nope, i made a copy of the BC and thats all thats in there, the ORIGINAL BC does have the icon.

    should i have duplicated or copy it? is there a difference? (dont see why there would be)

    how would i change the model of a unit?

    like the BC for example, i want to have a 2nd one in a custom map that looks like the one in the arcade game or the SS BC, it looks some thing like the Merc BC or Lokie.

    im just not sure where to find it.

    all im seeing in the actors list is. BC Air attack ground attack yamato attack, charge model, charge sound hurricane left attack, right attack, shield hitter missile pods launch defensive matrix birth, death, model missile pod cursor splat, range and the last one being yamato range.

    thats all thats in the actor

    its a shorter list in the models but more or less the same thing

    thats all in the data editor in when selecting the object, in the bottom left corner

    Ok i figured out a way around that problem.

    Now another question, for the SS carrier, if i can make it into a useable unit, because its so big i would think that it would be able to have more fighters, but how many would be good?

    Would 12 be too many or just right?

    Also seeing as how the BC has the Yomato and the missile pods and the defence maytrix, what kind of upgrades should the carrier get to sort or balance it out?

    Maybe one that gives them +2 fighters?

    Cool, but i now have a ...... small problem.

    I was using the campaign/story units b4 and every thing on a NEW map, and now every one of them is invisiable and i cant place any new ones, i can only place normal units and buildings.

    This is not the first time its happened to me, how can i fix this?

    So i cant even find the SS Carier Boss in the data yet i can place it in the map editor.

    From what im seeing, i cant select it or any thing, could some one tell me what i need to do to make it selectable.

    So what are the units with the SS in front of the name any ways?

    So im working on a map (big surprise) and i want to have an event where if the player/s do some thing they get a reward of a unit joining them as a sort of thanks.

    The idea is that the map is a sort of orbital defence of a planet, some transport ships get caught by the Zerg and IF you save them, the player/s get a reward.

    For Terran players im thinking some thing like ether 2 - 3 of the merc BCs or 1 - 2 Lokies, i would like an opinion on this because if i get the map to work, the players will need the extra fire power.

    That just leaves the Protoss, im looking at the SS carrier boss unit but i dont know any thing about it just that its a much larger carrier, so could any one give me any feedback on what would probably work best?

    Oh and im going to try and add the Void Seeker as a unit for the Prtoss, any comments on that one?

    just wondering, are there some special settings for the campaign maps or some thing?

    i ask because ive been trying to edit the mission "shatter the sky" map to use as a base for a custom game, i picked that map because it has the laviathan in it and thats some thing that i want for my custom game.

    im also wanting to edit the tech trees of the Protoss and Terrans, but for what ever reason, that map has most of the Protoss tech tree locked, some buildings can be built but no units aside from the probe.

    should i just cut my losses and start from scratch or what?

    the site is very nice and every thing, but it has more or less the same problem that the SC2 site has, every one has questions and the few people that do have the answers, are ether too busy to answer or just dont want to or other things

    a question can be asked and have no reply of an answer for weeks, i am talking from personal experience here sadly but what can you do.

    short of you and who ever else more or less runs the site take it appon your self to answer and make tutorials on almost every question asked, there really isnt any thing too special about the site that i can see that would warrent any real want or need to get more people to come to it.

    but that could just be me.

    well the problem idea wise, of giving the medic a gun is that the main job of a medic is to heal other troops, so the gun she would have, would have to be small meaning a pistol or a small laser type gun.

    i would look at protoss weapons for that because then its not too out there in the idea of hearing/seeing another weapon shooting from her.

    but thats just me

    ok so i know im useless in regards to the triggers on this and every thing, i still dont see what you have on that pic, i dont know what to tell you.

    unless you or some one else would be willing to take a look at the map them self for me, not the one im working on because i really havent done any thing to it, so there really wouldnt be any thing different actually.

    and you should finish the game, there are some interesting boss units that you come across and the like.
