the game wont load the map i modified.. it will load the map from the sc2data/sc2assets i can only test the map... thats why i said that i can extract the files modify them the put them back in the archive ... and maybe then the game will load the campaign with my modifications.....
yes a bit. i know you use it to add bones to a mesh and edit envelopes etc. though envelopes look really weird on a directly imported model, maybe i'd need to size up the model to correctly apply them. but what does weighting bones mean?
hi. thanks but could you please explain in a bit more detail what you've meant?? sorry i am more of a modeller than an animator so i only know the very basics of animation :D
hey guys. i wanted to know if it is allowed to modify the campaign maps using the MPQ extractor and Galaxy. as in.. is it legal? i know it would only affect me since it's pure singleplayer but would it pose a danger to my battle.net account?
hey. i was wondering if any of you could give me some advice on how to port animations between models. like for example, what i'd want to do is give a high-poly model (like the story mode cinematics marines or portrait models) the animations from its in-game low-poly unit's model counterpart.
so far... in 3ds max, i have tried linking the bones from the low poly one to the bones of the high-poly one but it isn't working too good. so any advice you can give me would be great. really wanna cook up some fully functional high detail units.
